The hotel is not in the old town, but on the beach. You can walk to the beach to swim. The bus to the old town is also next to the hotel (next to the newsstand). I have stayed at this hostel many times. It's clean, safe, internet works, shower is good, the bed is so-so. The location is good, it's close to the beach, there's a bar in front, to go to the center there's a bus stop nearby, Uber is cheap in Zadar. The service is always very kind and the breakfast is delicious, I recommend it, I've taken friends there, and I always come back
