The door lock is an old-fashioned security door that opens with a key. There's no safety chain inside, and it doesn't automatically lock. You have to manually lock it with a key. I didn't realize it at first, and on my first day back, I instinctively pushed the handle, and the door flew open... I'd almost hung a welcome sign. Another day, I was in bed with the lights off, playing on my phone, when a man suddenly barged in! I was so scared I yelled, "Who are you?! What are you doing?!" The man quietly left without saying sorry or explaining, because he'd saved a woman's life. I was so scared! I quickly got up, searched for my key, and locked the door! I usually stay in hotels in this price range, and they all lock automatically when the door closes, so I always forget to manually lock the door... Future guests, please don't forget! 2. The reservation said welcome fruit, but it wasn't delivered. I'm not sure if it's my fault for not asking. ~ Feel free to ask for this next time you book. 3. The owner checked my room to make sure it had been cleaned, but when I checked in, the towels were damp. I reported this to the owner, and he quickly addressed it. For the next few days, I only received disposable towels and bath towels. 4. The soundproofing was quite poor. Guests could hear people talking late at night, children playing in the yard early in the morning, and other guests talking at night. 5. Perhaps because of the weather in Lijiang, animals are more active and there are a lot of insects. I swatted moths, bugs, and spiders when I arrived. There were several dead insects on the bathroom windowsill. I heard the second floor would be better, so if you're afraid of insects, choose the first floor.
