We stayed in Taohuawu for two days, which was unforgettable for us. We booked the room at midnight the day before, and the housekeeper contacted us early the next day to confirm the pick-up location, which could be anywhere in Lijiang City. The housekeeper picked us up at Shuhe Ancient Town on time and took us into the mountains. The pick-up car was Tank 300. Although the mountain road was all mountainous, it was very comfortable to sit in. We finally arrived at the legendary Taohuawu in about 40 minutes. Check-in was done at lightning speed, and then the housekeeper sent us and our luggage to the door of the room. The room was super large, the facilities were very new, there was air conditioning and floor heating, and all were super large floor-to-ceiling windows. The scenery outside the window was beautiful, and you could see the snow-capped mountains from the room! Special praise to the housekeeper Xiao He, who is tall, handsome, considerate and very professional. He introduced the hotel's attractions to us, such as boating, horseback riding, and watching the sunrise at the Golden Mountain from the cafe halfway up the mountain, etc. All are free, and Xiao He personally picks us up. The road up the mountain is rugged, and taking a car up the mountain is also a very special experience, but the scenery after going up the mountain is really beautiful, with a wide field of vision to see the very complete Yulong Snow Mountain, and even Yak Ping, Yunshan Ping and Meili Snow Mountain! The hotel's meals are all local specialties, and the hot pot ingredients are all self-raised cattle, sheep and chickens or village famous families, and the taste is also very good. Then it was my favorite part. When night fell at night, there was no light in the whole valley. Looking up, you can see the sky full of stars. There are so many stars that you can even see the Milky Way. This beautiful scenery cannot be recorded with a camera at all. We watched it for two nights and tried to record it in our minds. It was winter when we came, and it was a pity that there was no green grassland. The houses left by "Fifty Kilometers Taohuawu" were only a frame. Xiao He said that they were all blown down by the strong wind and it was very difficult to maintain them. But we can also find many traces of the program, and there is a complete Gudu House. I can get the feeling of Wang Chuanjun crying when he saw the sun shining on Jinshan in the Gudu House. Taohuawu also has a super cute puppy named Xiaotao, who is very cute and affectionate. It is very healing to watch it running on the grassland! For me, traveling to Lijiang is to slow down and enjoy life. I never thought about going to the ancient city.
