The hotel is very impressive, and the overall experience was excellent. The staff speak English and provide excellent service. They also offer complimentary wine and drinks during happy hours, allowing us to relax and enjoy them after the onsen.

Fantastic stay. Public and private family baths were both fantastic. The ambience of the resort was really calming, and the open self-service free bar was a really nice delighting touch. We enjoyed ourselves tremendously!

No shower in the room is a bit inconvenient. Breakfast and dinner included were good. Environment and outdoor onsen was great.

Exquisite accommodation - service, food and onsen. The room size is very spacious, with separate living room and bedroom. Onsen environment was fantastic, with choice for both shared with other Ryokan guests and for private use (1st come 1st serve basis). My family was very delighted with all the breakfasts and dinners, and each meal is always a surprise to our palate without disappointment. However, on the 2nd day we were ushered into a room that was next to their service pantry. It was noisy and the spotlight in that dining room was too hot despite the cold weather. This was the only area that marred the enjoyment. There was happy hour in the evening, and complimentary self-service bar was enjoyed by all guests. Baien is framed by a beautiful scenery but you would need a car as the location is not too near town area. Great base to venture to other areas of interest and return to each day for zen relaxation.

Is very Good hotel

I traveled with two families. The large public bath was really nice, and I couldn't go in because I was using the family bath, but the large public bath alone was good. The open-air bath attached to the room was also really nice, so I soaked for 10 minutes early in the morning and left. It was a bit far to get to the main street. You can go by car, but there are paid parking lots to park in, and it seemed like it would take about the same amount of time to walk, so we walked to see the sights. I had a baby, so I took a stroller, but it was okay to walk to the main street and Kinrin Lake. It took about 15 minutes to walk. It's expensive, but I liked everything about the ryokan overall. Thank you.

Everything from accommodation to food and hot springs is very satisfactory We had meals in a private room with a view of the inner garden outside the window. We booked a night with two meals and had a happy chat with friends. There was also a happy hour free drink in the evening. In addition, you can see the starry sky from the open-air bath at night, which is amazing!

The hotel is very good, with beautiful surroundings. If you choose to walk to the hotel, most of the ground is muddy, so it is recommended to take a car or drive yourself. The dinner tastes ordinary, so don't expect too much! !

It's a little far from Yufuin Yunotsubo Street, so it's better to go by car. The staff is very friendly, and the dinner kaiseki and breakfast are both great. In particular, it was better that the children's meal was served separately. It was a little disappointing that there were only two family baths, but after eating the kaiseki, we went to the family bath and waited for a while, and we were able to enter right away. The water in both the public bath and the family bath was very clean. The room was also large and had a Japanese feel, which was nice.

The platform has selected 4 large 1 small two rooms, but do not understand check in that I did not notify a child to ask me to add money immediately. The day of my stay was so rocky with a cold snap, only minus 7 degrees at night, the heating was completely insufficient, especially the restrooms were not heated at all. In addition, because the room did not have a bathroom, the accompanying elderly and children had to go to the private hot spring bath, but the bathing place is outdoors, to bathe in strong wind temperature and low bath, feeling not good. The food is however not lost

Haha. The Japanese breakfast the next day was also very good. Disadvantages: The transportation and life around the hotel are really inconvenient, and you can only choose hotel dining. There is not even a convenience store at the door. The hotel waiters are a bit short of staff and there is often no one at the front desk. The heating facilities in the lobby are open flames. Although you can't touch the fire inside, the shelves outside are hot, and children are prone to accidental injuries. This is especially important. Our room with a private bath is on the third floor, there is no elevator, and you need to carry your luggage up the mountain by yourself. If there is no man with you, it will be really tiring. This hotel has about 30 rooms, which is relatively large in Yufuin. The location is a distance away from Yufuin Railway Station. If you have a lot of luggage, it is recommended to take a taxi. We walked for about 20+ minutes to get there, mainly because the suitcases are not easy to push on the way up the mountain.

The location is good and the parking lot is very large! The hotel lobby staff speaks English, Japanese, and Korean. Also, the breakfast and dinner are clean and good, and the free drink bar from 21:00 to 22:00 was also pretty. The large bath and family bath are clean and well-managed. The yukatas are pretty and come in a variety of sizes, which is even better! Recommended
