優點：上山的道路新，好開。山頂森林酒店外觀佈局不錯，整體看上去有規格有格調。雲汐清吧和懸崖觀景台有看頭，適合休息，前台和餐廳服務人員態度熱情。缺點：1、房間洗澡水特別小，特別特別小，冷熱不均很難調，無法洗頭。2、洗澡間完全不下水，前一個人洗完後十五分鐘進去還是漫溢狀態，十分惱火。3、床墊很硬，一個枕頭無法斜靠。4、雲汐餐廳早餐要趕早，8點半過後就不再補充食材。連續兩晚餐廳明明沒有什麼客人，平均上菜時間長達兩小時，適合大把時間浪費且不餓的客人。5、非木屋區客人到懸崖觀景台擺渡車上下各收10元/人。整體感受是外觀和內核完全不匹配，不是貫徹度假理念，評分直接從三星拉到一星，對細節有要求的不推薦。

從下高速一直到酒店門口，沿途鄉村路或山路都沒有路引牌，整個酒店區域衹有一個破舊的很小的滑滑梯和一個蹦床，穿越叢林項目需要自費68元/人，白皮松觀景平台上面也是就一個平台，商店關門。免費早餐還可以（國有企業這點不含糊），其他中午晚上吃飯自費稍貴，整個酒店基本上沒什麼玩的地方，酒店主廣場的很多林木應該貼上標簽讓大家認識一下，酒店沒有超市，房間內中央空調製熱效果非常棒，總體給75分吧。畢竟是國有企業控股的酒店，比私人硬件設施強，酒店缺乏運營活力，年輕人思維運營幾乎沒有，比如餐廳二樓會議室空着也是空着，何不改造成小童卡丁車區域？另外酒店應該養一些萌寵，比如羊駝之類的，再就是好多空地可以改造成旋轉木馬和滑滑梯之類的遊樂設施，另外可以提供送餐上門服務最好啦，再就是多組織一些活動，特別是親子活動，平時非週末你不組織可以，節假日你也不組織，這些來的住客95%都是帶小孩來的，我覺得既然是宜昌城投和三峽文旅控股，不至於沒有年輕人運營吧，並且晚餐上菜時間一個小時，簡單幾個菜，沒有準備？入住率就可以看出需要多大的容量滿足需求。酒店最理想的運營模式一定是親子模式，如果走養生養老模式，就等着倒吧。這麼好的環境，這麼**的控股方，一切都是那麼**，實際上一切都是一盤散沙。這個酒店給我的感覺就是早餐+環境**，並且酒店一直在放不準吸煙，你弄個集中吸煙室不就可以？一切都要人性化，慢慢整改，説句實在話，這個早餐吊打武漢的希爾頓歡朋酒店，加油！我媳婦説你們這還不如保康縣國投控股的雲溪山莊。
