I have stayed here many times in the past and the rooms are usually good and clean. There was a time where I got a free night because the shower handle didn't turn the water on and that should never have happened but this time..... I wasn't going to say anything but the bed side light was broken and I let it go. But when I decided to go down the hall upon exit and leave through the side door, the walkway was clear of snow going down the steps and to the walkway. When I got to the end of the walkway, a snow plow had pushed the snow of the walkway that led up the side of the property. Now I had to climb over that snow, but to get access to the driveway, where my car was parked, there was not one area cleared to allow a guest to get to their car without climbing over a pile of snow. I was carrying an overnight bag, along with a laptop bag. There should have been cleared opening to the parking lot at the exit walk way to allow guest to get onto the driveway. The actual path I walked on was only on shove wide. After exiting the building closest to my car, I would have had to walk back to the front of the building, only to get onto the parking lot, so I could walk back down the parking lot to reach my vehicle. Having to climb over a snow pile, I risked falling which would have been a liability situation. Fortunately that did not happen. If the fire alarm would have sounded the night before and that exit was the only one available on that side of the building, it would have been mayhem trying to get over the snow banks and onto the driveway without falling. Hampton guarantees 100% satisfaction, but really. Shovel a path for guest to get onto the driveway.
