We opted to stay overnight during our visit to Furong Ancient Town, and it really added to the whole experience. The location of our accommodation was excellent—just a short and scenic walk to the waterfalls, which made exploring the area easy and enjoyable. It was also very close to the performance area, so we didn’t have to go far to catch the cultural shows and activities.
From our room, we had a beautiful view of the ancient houses lining the river. The traditional architecture, especially when lit up at night, gave us a deeper appreciation for the charm and history of the town. Even though we were near the main attractions, the area still felt calm and relaxing.
Staying overnight allowed us to experience a quieter, more atmospheric side of Furong. After the day-trippers left, the streets took on a slower, more peaceful rhythm, and we enjoyed wandering through the lantern-lit alleys and hearing the sound of the river nearby.
It was a lovely part of our trip and gave us a more intimate glimpse into the timeless beauty of the town.

The room is right next to the red bridge. The check-in point is a tea shop. Show the reservation slip to the tea sales staff. The room is quite humid because it is next to the water or it is raining or something, I am not sure. The view is good. The accommodation is in the park.

The room looked nice, but it smelled of mold and sewage, so I couldn't relax at all. The ventilation was poor. The inn was right next to the Doo Bridge, but the music was playing loudly on the bridge until 11pm, so I couldn't sleep. It might be good if you want to enjoy a lively atmosphere.
