Perfect Green Getaway—Complete Bliss at Tamara Coorg Reservation & Check-in: Booking was a breeze, and check-in was smooth. The team warmly onboarded us with a rundown of all the fun activities available. Accommodation & Ambience: The wooden cottages—elegant and nature-blended—felt gorgeous and private, nestled amid lush green expanses. Hospitality & Experiences: Top-notch hospitality. We loved the nature walks, coffee plantation tour, and the immersive “Blossom to Brew” coffee experience. Felt both relaxing and engaging. Spa & Leisure: The spa is a rejuvenation gem—peaceful, skilled, and thoroughly relaxing—and the pools (indoor and outdoor) were a perfect place to unwind. Dining & Food: The restaurant spread was extensive, and every dish—whether Coorgi or international—was tasty and high-quality. Peaceful Ambience: With a no-kids-under-12 policy, the ambiance was serene and perfect for a quietly indulgent weekend. Value for Money: Given the lush 180-acre forested landscape, personalized service, engaging activities, and all-round comfort, the experience felt well worth the investment.

We had a wonderful experience at The Tamara Coorg. The property is absolutely beautiful, peaceful, and very well maintained. The hospitality really stood out during our stay. A special mention to Sourav – he is a very good guy, extremely polite, and his service was excellent throughout. He made sure we felt comfortable and well taken care of. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable getaway!

Excellent and nice stay. Very homely staff housekeeping Sanjay and Rani provided helpful support with Likitha. Restaurant service was also great. Overall a delightful experience.

The TAMARA had less than 25% occupancy during our stay (Nov 9 and 10, November 2025). They charged us full board (stay, breakfast and dinner), but owing to low occupancy rate, they cut corners. There was no buffet, and the choice was limited on Ala Carte. Further more they asked us if we would eat full portions of the main course once we had the appetizer. Our SPA appointment on Nov 10 was forgotten because they had the staff party running at that time. We had to go through lots of hoops to get someone to come and open the facility for us after waiting for over 20 minutes. We reported on the short comings at the reception on Nov 11, at time of check out. Today we got a response from them that it was due to the low occupancy that they had done away with the buffet. Why then charge us over 69,000 rupees for the two days stay. They should had reduced the price. We did not like the way they responded without apologizing for their shortcomings. Not a pleasant experience at all.

Some of us batchmates had our annual GT at Tamara Coorg, with many bringing ***** our spouses. We all enjoyed the serene location, spacious rooms, excellent hospitality, and delicious food. It was a thoroughly enjoyable stay for everyone.

Amazing time in the Jungle at Tamara Coorg: A relaxing five days stay with warm hospitality. Sustainability is a highly rated asset there. The estate is right inside a coffee Planatation with clever constructed cottages and fully privacy for guests. Amazing views, very good, healthy food. Plenty of recreation possibilities. Nice variety of guests from all over India. Foreigners from abroad most welcome, too. We finally left the paradise in good mood for Bangalore via Mysore Palace. A safari on that way is also a good stop-over in order to watch wild elephants, tigers, etc.. So come-on down & enjoy!
