The hotel was fantastic, I arrived on my birthday and was treated with champagne on arrival, balloons at my room. The food was so good, depending on your package if you can book the Al la Carte part of the restaurant, the choice of food, service was on par with Moon Palace hotel in Mexico (if you ever get to go). The bar staff, Fleix, Micky, to name a few, were fantastic. The hotel staff were brilliant, almost knew my drink order before I even asked. My wife and I will definitely be back again this year if we can,

We have stayed at The Athena Royal many times and always look forward to visiting a hotel that maintains excellent standards. We booked a room that included a cabana and the staff were kind enough to make sure we were given one in our favourite position. We were given a great reception by Nicoletta and were soon escorted to our suite. There is a new garden bar near to the cabanas and the staff kept us well supplied with refreshing drinks throughout our stay. We enjoyed the fantastic breakfasts in the Pygmalion restaurant that remains open until 11.00am for guests in elite category rooms and were well looked after by all the staff with a special mention for Bianca who has worked at the hotel for a number of years. We particularly enjoyed the Elvis Presley tribute act and of course Anastazio has performed in the Constantinou hotels for many years. The shop just across the road has closed but if you come out of the front of the hotel and turn right and walk past the Athena Beach hotel next door you arrive af a few shops including a supermarket with a great selection of goods including morning newspapers. The newspapers are right at the back of the shop. The Athena Royal also has a shop on site that provides a decent selection and is open from 8.00am until 10.00pm. Great hotel with first class staff and excellent food, all located in immaculately maintained grounds.

Just returned from honeymoon at this stunning hotel. Absolutely everything is top class the staff super friendly..the food amazing..the rooms awesome with super comfy beds. We was given a free upgrade as it was our honeymoon with balloons on the door and champagne on ice when we arrived. The views are outstanding we loved it so much we came home and booked again for our 1st wedding anniversary next june. Well done to all the staff and management

We’ve just returned from our 6th stay at the Athena Royal Hotel in Paphos, and once again, it did not disappoint! ️ The food was outstanding—fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented at every meal. A special mention goes to the Olive Tree Restaurant, which continues to be our absolute favourite for its atmosphere and exceptional dishes. The drinks service was very good, with attentive staff and a great selection available throughout the day. There was plenty of entertainment every evening, offering a lovely variety of music and performances that added to the relaxing holiday vibe. ☀️ We were lucky with the weather, which was warm and sunny throughout—perfect for enjoying the pool and the beautiful surroundings. As always, the room and hotel grounds were spotless, maintained to a very high standard. The staff clearly take great pride in keeping everything clean and welcoming. This hotel truly feels like a home away from home. We’re already looking forward to our 7th visit

The first thing that hits you when entering the reception area is how spotlessly clean everything is, this extends throughout the hotel corridors, dining rooms, pool areas & most importantly the bedrooms. Fragrant smells throughout including the lifts. Several buffet restaurants to choose from plus A-la-Carte in the Aphrodité or the Olive tree situated outside adjacent to the pool area. Then there’s the weekly BBQ, a huge area situated in the garden/veranda to accommodate the vast number of tables, this year accompanied by a Greek singing/dancing trio, another fantastic evening. Other evening entertainment was a magician (certainly BGT standard) & also Elvis Presley tribute act. Daytime activities, to many to mention but include exercise classes stretching/yoga/pilatés etc plus the mandatory Aqua pool exercise. Daily demonstrations of cocktail making, Cypriot cooking. The huge garden area blessed with more than adequate sun beds each with it own parrasol (no bed blocking here) served by 2 bars with staff taking your drink orders throughout the day but our favourite has to be the Roof bar for our pre dinner drinks. A fantastic view all the way to Paphos harbour allowing for spectacular sunsets. There is so much more to mention but the one standout feature has to be the amazing staff, super friendly keen to help so ensuring you have an amazing holiday. You will love this hotel.

We loved this hotel. It's in a great location, easy to walk along the promenade path at the back of the hotel to the main harbour and bus hub. The room was immaculate, everything modern and creature comforts provided, plenty of beach towels, bathrobes,coffee pod machine,fridge etc. Also ice machines in the corridor. As it was still a little chilly to use the outside pools we made use of the indoor one, sauna and steam room. The outside area had plenty of sunbeds and we loved making a fuss of the friendly cats. We were on half board and the food choices for breakfast and dinner were first class. Particularly loved the breakfast smoothies and Bucks Fizz! There was live entertainment every evening, well done to the hard working entertainment crew, especially loved the illusionist act!
