Orayeon Tourist Hotel Yeongwol Reviews

It's about a 5-minute walk from Yeongwol Bus Terminal. It's a new building so it was very clean and comfortable. There's a modern cafe at the front desk.

There were two female staff members who helped us check in, and they were kind and helped us check in quickly. We reserved the new building and stayed there, and the building facilities were all new and very clean. (The TV, electronic appliances, and supplies in the room all seemed to be new. Netflix and Disney Plus were installed on the TV, and we were also able to watch YouTube.) The room was spacious enough, so there was no inconvenience at all for two women to stay there. However, when there are a lot of cars parked on weekends or during peak season, it might be difficult to park if you come back from a late night trip, but instead, there was additional parking space in the back of the main building or across the building. Yeongwol Seobu Market was easy to access as it was just across the street from the hotel (about 10 minutes on foot). There was also a convenience store a 3-5 minute walk from the hotel, but we had to walk from the hotel toward Seobu Market to find a 24-hour convenience store selling emergency medicine (10-15 minutes on foot). The hotel was in a really good location in Yeongwol, as if it were in the center, so the tourist attractions we visited were only a short drive away, and it was really convenient to get around. They only gave one room key regardless of the number of guests, so if you leave it in the hotel room and leave, a staff member at the front desk will have to come up and open the door for you, so you may need to be a little careful about this. If I ever visit Yeongwol again, I would definitely stay here again as I was very satisfied with the room facilities.

When I checked in at the front desk, the male and female staff were very friendly, so I had a good start, but it was even better when I entered the room. It was nice that it was clean, comfortable, and spacious. It was nice that the boiler was separate so I could control it! It was cleaned well and the towels were neat! The breakfast was really delicious and the restaurant owner was friendly, so I was satisfied with everything about the Eorayeon Hotel! It was located downtown so it was easily accessible. I plan to visit again❤️

It was a clean-looking place with a typical one-room officetel feel, so it was cheap to stay alone for a night, and the location was good. The amenities were generally well-equipped, but there was one big flaw... When I woke up in the morning and boiled water in the coffee pot, I rinsed it with water just in case, and when I looked inside, there was something on the floor. I rinsed it several times, but it was still the same. The entrance was narrow, so I couldn't put my hand in, so I scraped it with the handle of a toothbrush, and several foreign substances fell off. I don't know exactly, but I think someone may have boiled ramen in there and eaten it. (I should have taken a picture in advance.) Please don't do that. At least wash the dishes cleanly. I hope the hotel pays a little more attention...

The newly built annex seems to be in good condition, but the old building had small windows and felt a bit like a motel. But the facilities were pretty good and the service was good. If I use it next time, I will have to use the new building^^

Not recommended for business trips

Overall, it is a clean and quiet accommodation. I recommend it.

영월숙소를 검색하려다 처음 보게 된 어라연호텔 블로그. 이 블로그 글로인해 어라연 후기들을 봤고 극찬하는 글에 거의 칭찬 글이였으며 무엇보다도 24년도에 오픈한곳이라 깨끗할것이라 생각하여 다른곳은 알아보지도 않고 예약. 1인 임에도 방이 없는 관계로 더블베드와 싱글베드가 있는방으로 예약. 방에 들어서자마자 화장실로 직행. 헐~~~변기에 소변을 싸다 흘린자국이 여기저기. 휴지에 물을 묻혀 일단 닦음. 처음부터 이래서인지 여기저기 마음에 안드는게 늘어남. 어메니티는 있어도 사용하지 않지만 비누하나만 놓여있는곳은 처음. 차도 녹차만 구비되어 있었음. 커피없는곳도 처음. 1층에 무인카페를 운영하고 있어서 놓지않은것 같은데 투숙객상대로 커피장사하는것 같아 언짢음. 매트리스 상태는 괜찮았으나 오래묵은 장롱을 열었을때의 냄새와 씻지않은 사람의 채취가 계속 나서 힘들었네요. 월욜 입실해서 금욜 퇴실. 4박 5일동안. 바닥도 그리 깔끔하진 않았음. 데스크에 말하고 싶었지만 외국인 두분이 청소를 하는것 같아참음. 불이익을 당할까봐. 만약 이 두분이서만 청소를 하는거라면 깔끔하게 청소하는건 무리일듯해요. 두분이서만 청소하는것 같아 지금이라도 글에 남겨봅니다. 호텔안에 머무르는 시간이 많아 이분들이 청소할 시간에 거의 있었는데 청소기 돌리는 소리는 들어본적 없었네요. 이분들이 말하는 소리는 엄청 잘 들렸거든요. TV가 갑자기 꺼져 데스크에 문의하려 했는데 방에 전화기도 없구요. TV시청을 연장하고 싶으면 확인을 누르라는데 리모컨이 안되더라구요. 호텔 외관은 정말 새건물이라 좋아보였는데 안은 그렇지못하다는. 새로지은거 맞아? 싶었던. TV하나 좋았네요. 저 처럼 좋다는 글들만 보고 선택하실 분들을 위해 후기남깁니다.

출장으로 들렀는데 가성비도 좋고 시내라 편리하네요. 주변 청령포, 선돌, 한반도지형, 장릉, 어라연 등등 접근성이 좋아요.

일주일 살기로 예약했어요! 여행지 중심에 있어서 차로 가깝고, 조용해서 좋았습니다. 구관이라그런지.. 조금 오래된 느낌은 있었지만 혼자 지내기엔 좋았습니다. 다음 여행때도 다시 들르겠습니다. 그때는 신관에서 머물러봐야겠습니다.

호텔은 영월 서부시장 근처에 있어 걸어서 저녁이나 먹거리를 해결할수 있어 좋았어요 시설은 구관동과 새로 신축한 신관동이 있었는데 신관동에 머무르니 깨끗하고 좋았어요 어메니티도 제공해주고~

눈이 많이 내려서 계획한 일정을 다 실행못하고 체크인시간 맞춰 가서 눈 안 맞는 1층 한자리 주차했어요..신발이 다 젖어서 신문지 요청했는데 주셔서 잘 말렸어요..따뜻하고 물 잘나오고 가운, 욕조는 없지만 그래도 괜찮았어요..근처 카페, 편의점 있고 바로 앞 고기와 조개집에서 저녁먹었는데 개별공간이라 좋네요. 설경이 진짜 멋졌던 청령포 장릉이랑 가까워서 좋아요..조식은 식당 휴무라고 못먹어서 아쉬웠어요..10년에 한번이나 눈이 올까말까한 남쪽에 거주하는 사람이라 평생 볼 눈, 구경 실컷 하고 갑니다~

출장으로 방문했고 솔직히 어라연호텔외 호텔 같은 곳이 없어요 ㅎㅎ 깨끗하고 주차가 편리해서 좋습니다. 구관 신관다 좋아요.

패밀리룸으로 구매하여 통창이 있는 방으로 배정 받았습니다. 신관이라 깨끗하고 불편함 없이 잘 지냈어요. 아이도 온돌이 너무 따듯해서 바닥에서 놀고 좋았습니다~ 다만 비상구 표시가 너무 환해서 불을 다 꺼도 밝더라구요~ 나머지는 너무 최상으로 좋았습니다.
