Positive note first - one of lifeguards was very chatty and sympa on the pool, pools are nice, food is ok, could use some variety but it's tasty!
I was in this hotel 10 years ago, must say there time stopped - unfortunately not in a good way, same problems then are there even now, but 10 years older and bigger! Hotel is unrenovated at least 30 years (except for new TV)!
By the price of it you know it's going to be a bad hotel, so I'm happy I payed peanuts, so not disappointed just reality stricken; but if you go during main season you might be very disappointed!
We got a seaview and good room thank to a friend that works as a business partner to a hotel - but room was old, furniture scratched and broken, bathtub peeling, all corners full of dirt and hairs, if carpet could talk, we would have 1001 stories to hear, and who knows what it all survived and what is still in it!
But mostly I was disappointed with staff that was completely uninterested, bored, ignoring, smoking, drinking, everyone is on their phones, noone is polite nor charming or smiling - very unusual for Tunisia - and that is the biggest problem of this bad hotel! Old rooms, cleanliness on low levels are not an issue if your staff is sympathic if they give their best - but unfortunately everything is very sad there!
I hope someone realises that staff is very important, and if they get to motivate them then we wouldn't notice all other aspects of this hotel - just my opinion!
