Hotel the Naksan Reviews

This is a good place to stay if you come to visit the Raksansa Temple or to swim. The hotel is three years old, so facilities are fairly new. It has a cafe downstairs, waterfront seafood restaurants and convenience stores all within walking distance. It has a gym and washing machines and dryers (5000W per cycle for each) at level 2. staffs are friendly - they speak English, one of them Mr Chui speaks Chinese - If I come back to Yangyang, I would consider booking here again.

The hotel has a great location right in front of Naksan Beach (a great beach - lots of white sand). There are restaurants and supermarkets close by and it is a quick taxi ride to the Yangyang airport and Yangyang bus depot. Staff are efficient and helpful without being intrusive. The hotel seems to have been newly renovated and the rooms, passages and common areas are newly carpeted and newly painted. There is a small gym and laundry room available for use. Most guests seemed to stay only one night which seemed strange, given the great location. The only thing that could be improved upon is some basic facilities in the room. There is no cupboard (although there is enough space for one), only one chair (and its fairly uncomfortable at that) and no furniture on the balcony - we really wanted to sit on the balcony and look at the sea in the evenings, but there is nothing to sit on. At the time that we stayed there (October 2024) there was quite a bit of construction noise as there are hotels being built on either side of the Naksan (although this is not the fault of the hotel itself).

I've been going to this hotel for about 2 years now and everything is fine

The location was great and Naksansa Temple was also within walking distance!! It was great because it had the sea view I wanted!! However, it was a little disappointing that there were no amenities~ But everything else was satisfactory!!

It is very close to Naksan Beach, but it is a bit far from the popular Yangridan-gil Jukdo Beach and Population Beach. The facilities are relatively old.

The accommodation was located right in front of Naksan Beach, so the view was very nice. It was also a very accessible place with easy access to Naksansa Temple and Sokcho. I had a great stay for two days. It would be nice to just have a table and chairs.

It was nice that the sea was right in front. There was no pressure at all when going out to see the sunrise, and there is Holly's Cafe on the first floor. It was convenient to have a kiosk for late check-in. If you have an ocean view room, you will be able to see clearly without anything blocking it. I had a different outlook. The facilities are clean and comfortable.

I went to see the sea and myself quietly alone. Both of the places I wanted were very close, and it was nice to be able to lie down and watch the sea. The downside is that the place to put luggage is ambiguous, and the feeling of resting can be a little ambiguous because the surroundings are under construction. However, the price mars everything.

The room is small but has a view of the sea and the location is great.

The good thing is that you can see the sea from the room. Recommended for those who want to see the sea... from the room ^^ New construction is underway next to the hotel. please refer to this. Because the room is small... I can hear sounds from inside and outside through the room door. I think you should be careful and considerate. The unmanned check-in machine turns on at 3:00. I was so nervous because I was unmanned...^^ㅋ The person in charge is at the entrance of the coffee shop on the 1st floor.

It was clean, quiet and friendly. I can recommend it to my friends. It was better to be able to see the scenery of the East Sea, and the morning sunrise from the bed was the highlight.

It was nice that Naksan Temple and Naksan Beach were close. It's non-face-to-face check-in/out and I haven't used any facilities, so I have nothing to comment on hotel services, amenities, or meals. The standard room was a bit small, but it was generally clean and there were no problems with noise or water pressure that I was worried about.

The view is nice and it's in front of the sea, so it's really nice It's just that the service and responsive behavior of the staff is not good.

I slept well and rested well.
