We decided on this hotel at the last minute due to the other positive reviews. We were not disappointed! The hotel is perfectly situated within pleasant walking distance to the memorial hall, Wangjiaping revolutionary site and the Yangjialing revolutionary site. It is well connected to major bus routes and is extremely convenient. The hotel its self feels modern and is tastefully designed. Our room was clean, and we really enjoyed the overly spacious Kang bed and the large shower. Facilities such as free washing equipment, umbrellas, ice creams, and cold teas on offer to guests were lovely touches and muchly appreciated for those on the road. I also really enjoyed the revolutionary decorations and art throughout the property. The staff were also extremely polite and attentive. As I am only just beginning to learn Chinese, sometimes it can be interesting to navigate the process with limited language abilities. However, we were relived to find that Crystal spoke excellent English and was able to help us with everything during our stay. In particular, she helped us get some dinner at a local restaurant, which ended up being a very memorable experience. I would highly recommend this hotel for any foreign guests wanting to experience the history and significance of Yan'an.

Check in ladies are very friendly. Hotel does provide self service washing machine & dryer. You can develop a photo per day per customer for free.

Our stay in this hotel had been pleasant. The staff at the front desk was very helpful and attentive to my query. When we requested for extra towel and assistance for TV channels, the staff were prompt in responding to our needs.The room is spacious and very clean with a touch of local favour. I asked for a non-smoking room, and the staff allocated me one that was away from the rest of the smoking rooms. The spread of breakfast at the hotel was limited but it had something to cater to everyone's taste bud. I really appreciated their attention to details to make the guest's stay a pleasant one. A very good hotel in a small town.

The Shaanxi-style Kang room we stayed in this time was a complete surprise - the spacious earthen kang was covered with a fluffy and soft mattress, and lying on it felt like being wrapped in a cloud, ten times more comfortable than I had imagined! The hotel is in a great location, right next to the Yan'an Revolutionary Memorial Hall and the Wangjiaping Site, and not far from Pagoda Hill and Yangjialing Date Garden.
