"It takes 20km (30 minutes by taxi) from Ukiha Station. I paid 6,000 yen for a taxi and got in. Since Uber was in the countryside, I couldn't catch one, so I called one from a restaurant or hotel. The hot spring was small, but I was able to enjoy it in a quiet place, and the room size was large because it was on the outskirts. It was cold because it was located on a mountainside, but the heating was good, so the room wasn't too cold. There was a bathtub in the room, so I was able to take a separate half-body bath. If you want to use Sagol, you should definitely go~ The meal is a traditional Japanese home-style meal~"

"We stayed in an absolutely charming little ryokan for two nights (bamboo room). A sort of Japanese-style boutique hotel. Comfortable futons. No curtains for darkness, as is often the case. The room is spread over two floors, with breakfast on the ground floor and the sleeping and living areas on the first floor. The toilet and bathroom are on the ground floor. The welcome was extremely attentive and pleasant. Excellent breakfasts. Very detailed information on nearby restaurants. And a valuable recommendation for one of them: an Isakaya-style restaurant: the Sakata (a memorable shared experience). A precious address."

"It’s a really nice affordable place to stay. We enjoyed the meals and thought the onsen was excellent.  We had a Japanese style room and thought the futon bedding was too hard. Also, the featured Trip photo of the hotel/room lead me to believe that the room would be larger, with beds. The actual room was smaller and we slept on the tatami. The onsen is open t9 the public, so on busy days, it brings in many people staying at the nearby campground . Overall, we thought it was an excellent."

"We had lunch and enjoyed the baths on the tour. We got off the bus and went up the stairs to the restaurant on the first floor. The building must have been bustling during the Bubble Era, and the restaurant served Showa-era Japanese banquet meals. One lady said she saw the photos in the tour pamphlet and thought it looked luxurious, so she signed up. While there were certainly many dishes, the rice in the pot was hard and the tempura was cold. This is typical of Showa-era Japanese banquet meals, but a bit too much for the Reiwa era. The bath was spacious, so we were able to stretch out, which was nice. There was an indoor bath, an open-air bath, an electric bath, and a sauna."
