Perfect place for a family stay. Great location, 1 mins from the beach.
We stayed in an ocean view apartment which saw the sunrise every day. Pool was perfect for the kids and big enough even though it was the school holidays.
100% recommend.
Also Yamba was perfect. Amazing beaches. Will definitely go back.

We booked and paid for an ocean-view room, however the view from the unit itself was very limited, with a proper view only possible from the far edge of the balcony. The unit also felt quite dated and would benefit from some refurbishment in order to match the price point of over $420 per night during a non-peak period. While the unit was generally clean, there were a few maintenance and presentation issues such as visible mould under the shower silicon, a fridge showing heavy wear, a damaged cutlery drawer liner, and a stained breadboard that could not be cleaned. The positive aspects were the location, the beauty of Yamba, and the friendly and helpful service from staff. However, for future guests, I would recommend asking for photos of the specific unit you are booking so you can ensure it meets expectations for the price being charged.

We enjoyed our stay at this clean and modern resort. It has a great pool area. The rooms are large. It is directly over the road from one of the lovely beaches but quite a walk away from the hotel and coffee shops.

We recently had a 4 nt stay here and were very impressed! So calm and quiet in Winter, we hardly saw a soul! Lady at check in was lovely and helpful. The pool area was gorgeous with nice furniture too. We were upgraded to a lovely 2 story apartment, great view of Pippi beach , super well equipped, very comfortable. we did ask for 2 more pillows though… most place have 2 pillows each esp for reading / watching tv. We walked everywhere which is fab and so varied! our only minor issue was outdoor cleaning/ painting which meant we had tradies outside our apartment for more than half our stay! …despite this we loved it and would love to return next Winter!

Stayed in Apartment 12 which is 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom unit on the third floor. The balcony overlooks the ocean which is across the road. Watched whales travelling by every day. The resort has a pool, spa and bbq area which is lovely.

I was only here for business so didn't get the opportunity to enjoy what the Sands Resort offers but it was clear, well presented, plenty of parking and communication was excellent.
