Grupotel Flamingo Beach ★★★
"I had a wonderful time at this hotel. For a 2* it had everything I needed and wanted. Lovely palm trees and bougainvillea everywhere. There were plenty of activities to choose from / sign up to via the Tui App such as aqua aerobics, and sunset yoga, and arts and crafts. The young instructors were lovely and enthusiastic. The evening entertainment was laid back and good fun with quizzes and shows and music. They very kindly upgraded me to a large sea view room with views across to Fuertaventura. Very much appreciated. I went self catering and the kitchen had all the equipment I needed. No oven but a combi microwave. The bed was very comfortable. Plenty of storage space and sockets. Pool / beach towel provided. I had the buffet dinner on my last night and there was so much choice. Very good value for €20. Would definitely recommend."
Hotel Cordial Marina Blanca ★★★★
"Free parking, with a mall and tons of restaurants nearby, plus a stunning beach with calm waves perfect for families. The room has basic cooking utensils, and the pool is comfortable. Beach towels are provided."
Timanfaya Casa Rural ★★★
Palmeras Garden ★★★
"Our favourite place to stay in Lanzarote. This apartment hotel is well equipped, a d clean, with friendly staff. It is a 3km walk from the harbour along the paved coastal path. The pool is quiet and clean, with plenty of sunbeds, a bar, and a small, shallow pool for children. The Arena bar is a friendly place to go, there are a few good restaurants nearby, on the coast path, and many others in the town. There is a bus stop right behind the hotel, if you want to get a bus into Playa Blanca or to Rubicon Marina. We prefer to book direct, as the rates are preferable & it's easy to do, as their website offers different language options."
H10 Rubicón Horizons Collection ★★★★★
"Having already known the Rubicon hotel, it was a pleasure to return there, however the cleanliness was not up to par and the mattress was not the most comfortable"
Secrets Lanzarote Resort & Spa - Adults Only (+18) ★★★★★
"Extremely clean and hygienic. Highly recommended! The service was also excellent. Everyone who's interested should check it out. These are all genuine reviews. The facilities and equipment are complete and well-equipped."
Gran Castillo Tagoro Family & Fun Playa Blanca ★★★★★
"Another great holiday in this wonderful hotel just four hours straight south from Gatwick , excellent rooms, food, pools, entertainment and staff, in a superb location on the south coast of Lanzarote. My wife and I, and our family and grandchildren always have a great time here."
THB Tropical Island ★★★★
"Fantastic hotel and animation team, bar staff and those doing the snack bar were great. Can’t wait to return x"
La Casona de Yaiza ★★★★
"The hotel was very beautiful from the outside and the service was very good, especially the girl who was working breakfast! The room was nice, however, being in an old house and on the ground floor, it was quite dark. Undoubtedly, the best thing about this hotel is its exterior. We stayed on a half-board basis and dinner was very good, but it's worth mentioning that (at least for us) the portions were a bit small. Breakfast was quite good. In short, it was a good stay in a hotel with real history."

Elba Lanzarote Royal Village Resort
"After reading the horrendous TripAdvisor reviews and some of the negative posts in this group, I thought I’d share our experience whilst waiting to depart home!! It was just me (44) and my 13-year-old daughter for 5 nights. We only booked 4 days before travelling… and then I made the mistake of reading the reviews! 😅 I was honestly quite nervous, but we decided we’d make the best of it regardless. Reception The team were so helpful. We arrived late, and they kindly let us grab something to eat before completing the check-in process, which was really appreciated. Room We stayed in a Junior Suite, and it was spacious, clean and had loads of room. We couldn’t fault it. Restaurant Breakfast on our first morning was very busy, and there weren’t many tables ready. However, after that, I have to take my hat off to the waiting staff. They always had smiles on their faces, worked incredibly hard and were happy to help. We’re here during peak season, so yes, it’s busy. We’ve paid for our holiday, but so has everyone else, and I think a little patience goes a long way. The management team were very hands-on, and after that first morning, things definitely improved. The food was a little hit and miss but that might be because we are both not very adventurous, but we found something to enjoy at every meal. There was certainly plenty of choice. Pool The pool areas were clean, and we never struggled to find sunbeds, no matter what time of day we went. The pools are either saltwater or chlorinated (we discovered that the hard way when we accidentally got a mouthful! 😂). Pool Bar 🍹 Yes, there were queues at times, but they moved quickly. Most of the time, there were only a few people ahead of me. There’s also a mini snack buffet available throughout the day with things like crisps, marshmallows and other snacks. Entertainment My daughter is 13, so although we really enjoyed the Pink-themed evening (the entertainment team put so much effort into it!), we didn’t stay for the other evenings as they were more aimed at younger children. Instead, we headed back to our room for card games and some quality time together. There’s also an arcade and a bookshelf where you can swap books. One thing I would highly recommend is the dolphin and sunset boat trip we booked through TUI with Lanzarote Sea Tours. It was absolutely amazing! The crew were fantastic and did everything they could to make sure we saw dolphins. It was definitely one of the highlights of our holiday. Overall, we’ve genuinely enjoyed every minute of our 5-night stay. Everyone’s experience is different, of course, but I wanted to share ours because the reviews had me worrying before we arrived. For us, it’s been a lovely holiday, and we’re heading home with some wonderful memories. ☀️"
Princesa Yaiza Suite Hotel Resort
"I spent 9 nights here in the last week of July with my 16 year old son. For context, we are a neurodivergent family whose priorities are space, hygiene, good food and relaxation. The Princesa Yaiza delivered all of this and more. We had a few service and housekeeping issues in the first few days. These were swiftly addressed by the fantastic Guest Relations team, all of whom deserve credit, particularly Carla, who went above and beyond what is expected. Guest Relations truly made our holiday special and we felt cared for in a way that's difficult to achieve in such a big hotel with so many guests with differing needs. Which brings me to the question: what is the demographic of this hotel? The answer is it has something for everyone - young families, teens, couples, friends, elderly people and those with disabilities, including wheelchair users. It is, above all, versatile and accommodating. The suites are large and comforting. The traditional furnishings are high quality and functional. The bathroom is huge and has three zones, bathing/showering, vanity area and toilet. Our suite overlooked the baby pools and we enjoyed the chatter and delighted squeals of infants having fun. It was a nice outlook. The breakfast buffets were incredible - all three of them. The evening buffet was some of the best buffet food in any hotel I've stayed in. The meat and seafood was top quality and the little individual hand made dessert cakes were exquisite. Kudos to the chefs. Suggestions for improvement. The games room is huge and empty. This could be made into a fabulous teen zone, particularly the 13-17 age group who aren't interested in the sports academies or kids' club. Monitor the reserving of sunbeds around the main pools. This was a real issue, with people laying towels and not showing up for 4/5 hours. Such selfishness is unbecomimg of a 5* hotel. Have a system for ordering drinks at the theatre bar. My son suggested colour changing lamps on the table. Trying to get served was frustrating. Finally, the spa is not utilised enough, possibly because it's extremely expensive. Either lower prices or give guests a free 'taster' session of, say, 90 minutes. Would I stay at the hotel again? Absolutely, yes. It is magnificent."
Hotel LIVVO Volcán Lanzarote
"Excellent hotel with good location, with sea views from the room, a lot of swimming pools, fitness zone, spa zone, all necessary conditions for relaxing. Beautiful breakfast and dinner with a lot of products from various world's kitchens. So, the best hotel to forget about your life problems)))"
Iberostar Selection Lanzarote Park
Kamezí Boutique Hotel Villas
"This is our 4th visit in 2 years. Such a special place. From the minute you arrive to the minute you leave you are looked after."
Jardines del Sol
"We had a nice clean appartement which was very spacious. The bed is really good, very soft and we slept like babies. Bathroom was nothing special but clean which is the most important thing. Breakfast is a bit on the expensive side. (8,- for 2 small orange juice). The staff was friendly. We would’ve liked to stay longer but unfortunately it was fully booked. The only downside was the 100,- borg that has to be payed with creditcard as we didn’t have one but we got the appartement anyway. I recommended this place to others if they’re looking to relaxed without the screams from tourists. If you read this as a tourist please keep this beautiful island clean and show your respect. (We walked around with an empty bag picking up trash along the road)"
Caybeach Papagayos
"Just got back from caybeach and had booked a two bed apartment. Air con in every room no charge, loads of patio space along the three sliding doors you get to each room and living room. Massive apartment double bathrooms and a kitchen. serviced apartments.. Reception, maids and lifeguard, it's not a hotel so if this up your street I'd recommend booking as you will get sunbeds no matter what time of the day get your room cleaned and towels change without any fuss. Sat on our patio every night once up from the pool, great red wines and tapas can be purchased from the supermarkets and the chilled out vibes, sun setting looking at caybeach gardens and landscaping on the patio proper set the mood for dinner in playa Blanca, so many beautiful restaurants to choose from overlooking the sea. Tips for resort. Those who don't hire a car don't stress as the bus stops right outside on time everytime.. 4 adults 5 euros takes you straight into the thick of everything and you'll be joining a lot of people who get the bus.. We loved it going out them coming home got a cab.. Most I paid was 7 euros. I hired a car for the duration and it's worth it because the island is too beautiful to not go venture out.. So many natural places to visit and it's good for during the day getting into town to the beaches in playa flamingo, play Blanca... I'd recommend looking at play pappagyo beach you can only reach it by sea of dirt road and it's stunning. As all the reviews have stated you are a 5 minute walk to a few bars and restaurants and a supermarket but not really walking distance to playa Blanca Caybeach gets the thumbs up from the brown family we loved everything about our stay and the beautiful island of Lanzarote."
Caybeach Sun
"Excellent location, less than 10 minutes walk from Playa Dorada and excellent facilities, I would return without hesitation."
Royal Marina Suites Boutique Hotel
"Lovely hotel, incredible views, spotlessly clean and very large rooms. Personally not a fan of the window into the bathroom or the wet room. The reason we have given it four stars is for several reasons, firstly the lift was out of order for quite a substantial amount of time during our stay and being on the top floor it might have caused problems with mobility issues. Also breakfast was nothing special, limited amount of fruit and some mornings especially the strawberries, raspberries etc. were still frozen. The pool bar which was supposedly open at 11.30 wasn’t always set up on time and guests sometimes had to go and find a member of staff. The worst situation was the reserving of sunbeds. Most had been taken by 8.30 but weren’t occupied till much later. Numerous guests, us included, complained to reception who said there is nothing they could do about it. But they did put a note under doors asking for guests not to do it. People ignored it, and nothing was done about it."
Monea Royal Monica
"My mum and I have just returned from a 3 day break at the Royal Monica and feel compelled to write a review after our wonderful stay. This was our first time in Lanzarote and the resort of Playa Blanca was perfect for us - beautiful long promenades for running and walking and the hotel overlooks cove beaches and the sea - exactly what we wanted for a lovely relaxing stay. On arrival, the reception team were friendly and helpful. We booked a sea view family room (highly recommend) and opened up our balcony doors to sea and hear the sea every day. The hotel and rooms were always cleaned and serviced regularly. Meal choices were much better than many 4 star AI resorts we have stayed in before including vegetarian options. Always plenty of choices, great mealtimes and staff were always friendly and attentive. Evening entertainment, like many hotels, can be a little hit and miss but the animation team were friendly and welcoming and worked hard to make sure everyone had fun! Although the hotel is 3 star, the staff, service, food and location make this closer to a 4 star. Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay. We look forward to returning to Lanzarote and the SBH Royal Monica in the future,"
Hotel Mirador Papagayo by LIVVO
"Warm welcome, superb location. Lovely 45-minute walk to Cala Blanca. Regarding the hotel itself, nice pool, clean hotel. Entertainment every evening. However, the restaurant is very noisy and lacks charm; it feels like a hospital cafeteria. The food is okay, but nothing special."
Sandos Papagayo
Relaxia Lanzasur Club - Aqualava Water Park
"Amazing hotel, great selection of food, very clean and helpful staff. Our only issue was our 'beige eating' children. They struggled with the food not because of lack of selection but simply their own fussy eating. We often ate at the adjoining waterpark at lunch times as this seemed to appeal more to their fussy taste buds! The entertainment staff are great providing family friendly fun everyday, with prizes to be won. The pool area is always clean and tidy and there was no shortage of sun beds. The free entry to the adjoining waterpark was great and we used this most days. Again it is clean and very well maintained. We had the Royal Villa Suite which was incredible with its own hot tub walled off garden space and ample garden furniture, sunloungers and even a day bed! This was very useful when my youngest child needed a 'break' I was able to retreat to the villa with him and he was still amused by the hot tub. The villa itself is spacious and has all amenities. It was cleaned daily with fresh towels and bedding, again the cleaning staff were friendly and polite. Our eldest son had a 1 bedroom bungalow which was just as nice, all amenities plus a small porch area with sunloungers and patio furniture. I felt that this hotel was great value for money, having 3 boys would have been costly to keep them fed and watered so the all inclusive was a must. You have free sangria, wine and lager available on tap all day along with fizzy, coffee and water. Cocktails are available but a limited selection unless you pay for them. They are extremely generous with their measures of alcohol too! I noticed that there were lots of families that had children and young adults with additional needs and I was impressed by the level of support they were given especially by the entertainment staff. Their is a football pitch just outside the hotel grounds my boys particularly enjoyed using this on occasion. It is about a 20 minute walk to the harbour and around 40minutes to marina rubicon. A taxi for 6 was only around €6 though. Market days are Wednesday and Saturday, well worth a look however mainly local jewellery sellers and the odd handbag stall. We managed to find a couple of stalls selling football kits (a must for my boys) and these were selling fir approx. €40 for an England shirt or children's shirt/shorts set. I was informed that the larger market is on Costa Teguise so perhaps this might be a better option if you are looking for sone bargains!. Overall the hotel provided us with an amazing holiday and we would definitely return."
