Jardines del Sol

Jardines del Sol ★★★★

📍 Urb, Montaña Roja, C. Francia, 1, Playa Blanca

"We had a nice clean appartement which was very spacious. The bed is really good, very soft and we slept like babies. Bathroom was nothing special but clean which is the most important thing. Breakfast is a bit on the expensive side. (8,- for 2 small orange juice). The staff was friendly. We would’ve liked to stay longer but unfortunately it was fully booked. The only downside was the 100,- borg that has to be payed with creditcard as we didn’t have one but we got the appartement anyway. I recommended this place to others if they’re looking to relaxed without the screams from tourists. If you read this as a tourist please keep this beautiful island clean and show your respect. (We walked around with an empty bag picking up trash along the road)"

Palmeras Garden ★★★

📍 Las Palmas, Playa Blanca

"5 adults and 2 kids one of the kids has complex needs, nonverbal autism so this was a must we needed a place to stay. We where originally staying in a villa in playa Blanca and our checkout was 10am our flight wasn’t until 9pm that night. We phoned up 15 places round about us to try book a room for for for 8hrs to get out from the heat, freshen up and relax. We had no where to go no hotel would put paying customers up for 8hrs under the circumstances. We then tried PALMERAS GARDEN. I spoke to the KINDEST lady on reception think her name was “anya” I could be wrong. She was really sympathetic to our situation and got us a room that would accommodate all of us. When we turned up to the hotel at 10.30am everything was in place for us just to go straight to our room. AC everything. We didn’t need to use any of the facilities. Apartment was absolutely stunning for all of us. Lady in the reception saved us from lots of stress, walking about with 6 suitcases a double buggy and 2 small kids one on the spectrum too. Gorgeous place to stay and family oriented. 5***** from our family thank you again!!!❤️"

📍 C. la Fragata, 2, Lanzarote, Playa Blanca

"Short stay, I guess that's why we haven't been able to get the most out of the hotel. It seems that the hotel enjoyed better times. They gave us a room next to some facility because there was a lot of noise. The best location..."

Barceló Playa Blanca Royal Level - Adults Only ★★★★

📍 Avenida de Papagayo S/N, Playa Blanca

"None of the YouTube’s or reviews do this place justice. A perfect holiday except for the Mexican restaurant. It was so cold, we had to put jumpers on to get through it. "

Elba Premium Suites - Adults Only

Elba Premium Suites - Adults Only ★★★★

📍 Av. Faro Pechiguera, 1, Playa Blanca

"Just returned and cannot rate this facility highly enough. Important to note, we travelled with grown up children (17 and 22) to the Adults Only area, at the start of the Scottish School holidays, and paid the small premium for Prestige A/I, which provided numerous benefits as standard. These included unlimited access to both A Le Carte restaurants, free refills of this minibar (which included Cruzcampo Beer, real Coke/Fanta etc and 2.5l of water daily). The standard of accommodation, Wine/Beer/Spirits/Cocktails, friendliness of staff, Pool area, restaurants, and food were all highlights. There was nothing in the A/I offering that I would change - all the wine was in branded bottles, and although lower in ABV, perfectly drinkable; in my experience this is rare. (not to mention Cruzcampo on draft). I think the Italian restaurant would benefit from improved aircon, but that's about the only suggestion I would make."

Secrets Lanzarote Resort & Spa - Adults Only (+18) ★★★★★

📍 Calle Hesperia Nº 1 Urbanización Cortijo Viejo SN, Puerto Calero

"The accommodation was nice and beautiful, close to various places and convenient for travel. The only downside was the breakfast; there wasn't much variety, it was repetitive. For the last two days, my boyfriend and I didn't go down for breakfast. We ate outside instead."

Grupotel Flamingo Beach

"I had a wonderful time at this hotel. For a 2* it had everything I needed and wanted. Lovely palm trees and bougainvillea everywhere. There were plenty of activities to choose from / sign up to via the Tui App such as aqua aerobics, and sunset yoga, and arts and crafts. The young instructors were lovely and enthusiastic. The evening entertainment was laid back and good fun with quizzes and shows and music.  They very kindly upgraded me to a large sea view room with views across to Fuertaventura. Very much appreciated. I went self catering and the kitchen had all the equipment I needed. No oven but a combi microwave.  The bed was very comfortable. Plenty of storage space and sockets. Pool / beach towel provided.  I had the buffet dinner on my last night and there was so much choice. Very good value for €20.  Would definitely recommend."

Kamezí Boutique Hotel Villas Hotels in Yaiza

Kamezí Boutique Hotel Villas

"We had a fantastic stay at Villas Kamezí and would definitely come back. The whole place is peaceful and private—it often felt like we were the only ones there (even though the carports said otherwise!). The villa was really comfortable, and the staff were terrific. Sam and David, who manage the resort, are super helpful, and Martha and the reception team were lovely and always happy to assist. Desiree was our cleaner and was super sweet and useful each day. We were welcomed with a cocktail at the bar when we arrived, which was a nice touch. Later in the week, we had dinner at the cocktail bar, and it was one of the highlights of our trip, with great food and an incredible view of the sunset. The breakfast each morning was also a treat, especially the pistachio croissant from the bakery (honestly, don’t skip it!). The on-site shop is surprisingly well stocked and reasonably priced, which came in handy more than once. The spa was great value and easy to book, and even though the Wi-Fi gave us some trouble at first, we figured out how to reset the router and had no issues after that. A tip for future guests: be proactive. If something isn’t quite right, just let the staff know; they’re super responsive and quick to help. We had a small issue with ants, which was handled immediately. One thing to be aware of is that each villa is unique. Ours had a smaller, more enclosed pool, while others had more modern, open layouts. It’s part of the boutique charm, but something worth checking when you book. Figure out what the most crucial aspect of the villa is for you and communicate that. Villas Kamezí gave us the relaxing, personal experience we hoped for, and we’d happily return and stay for longer this time."

La Casona de Yaiza Hotels in Yaiza

La Casona de Yaiza

"The hotel is absolutely gorgeous; the receptionist was very welcoming and patient, providing a comprehensive introduction to the hotel and the entire island. It's about a 10-minute drive from Timanfaya Park. Parking is easy, with free parking available and plenty of spaces. Choose a larger room type, as the smallest can feel a bit cramped. Overall, the accommodations are quite comfortable: the blankets are soft, and the pillows are the perfect height; the water heater is rather basic, but sufficient for a normal shower. The only issue was the unstable electrical wiring; the adapter we used was difficult to plug in and wouldn't charge. It was likely a connection problem. By the way, the restaurant attached to the hotel is delicious. The potatoes with the green sauce were quite good. The steak was reasonably priced, and I personally thought it was tasty. The seafood paella is also good; the price listed is for one serving, but it's sold for a minimum of two people."

Dream Bocayna Village Hotels in Yaiza

Dream Bocayna Village

"This was our second visit to Dream Bocayna Village and it was just amazing. They organised our transfer from the airport and arranged car hire for the following day. All of the staff are fantastic . Having worked in travel and hospitality for many years I know how difficult it can sometimes be to keep everyone happy and they do not fail at all. This place provides the perfect opportunity to relax and just enjoy your time. We love it so much we are going back again this year and staying for even longer. We cannot wait!"

Boutique Hotel H10 White Suites - Adults Only Hotels in Yaiza

Boutique Hotel H10 White Suites - Adults Only

"We stayed here for a week on a half-board basis. The location is more to the west of Playa Blanca. There are bus stops right on the main road: Princesa Yaiza (eastbound, into town) and Playa Dorada (westbound for Rubicón Marina and Playas Papagayo). There's also a HiperDino express supermarket directly opposite, which is pretty well stocked. However, if you'd prefer somewhere slightly cheaper, there's an Aldi ten minutes' walk away. In terms of our experience, the hotel is spotlessly clean and the staff are absolutely brilliant and attentive. Our incoming flight was delayed, but the receptionist did all she could to make sure we still made it to the end of dinner. Another receptionist was super helpful on check-out. Note that the room keys are an electronic tag you wear around your wrist. This also is the only way you can pay for food/drink extras around the hotel (there's no "pay as you go"). I'm in two minds about this. It did make us feel tagged and like walking adverts for the hotel. On the other hand, there was zero chance of losing your room key and you also had a payment method handy. It depends how you feel, I suppose. We were in a first-floor room, which was accessed by stairs (ground-floor rooms are more accessible) that are accessed directly from the outside (no corridor). It was so windy, the "do not disturb" signs blew away, so don't rely on them. The room is a C shape with the bathroom in the middle, the bed area at the entry end and a lounge area at the balcony end. The aircon was at the lounge end and we're not 100% convinced the thermostat was showing the right temperature. This made it feel a bit hot for sleeping, although the ceiling fan certainly helped. The décor was fine, although a bit dated and showing signs of wear and tear. The coffee machine was a nice touch, as well as the free-to-use safe and fridge. They also provided pool towels which fitted the loungers perfectly. There is wi-fi throughout the hotel, although it seemed to ask for login details every time we moved to another part of the hotel. We gave up and used our data. One thing to note: all the rooms are located around a central courtyard, where the pools are. This means you will hear the evening entertainment in your room to a noise level that's hard to block out. This did not bother us, however, as the latest it finished was 11 pm (usually 10:30), but just so you're aware. The overall vibe of the hotel was mainly for older couples. At least, that's the impression we got. The entertainment reflected this – on paper, it looked varied, but with the exception of the "White Party" on Wednesdays, it was all glorified karaoke. We've also never heard "Stand by Me" so many times by so many different artists. I don't think it would appeal to anyone under 40. We were staying half-board and the food quality in general was excellent. The wine list was almost exclusively Spanish (excepting Champagne) and featured a lot of great local Lanzarote wines (highly recommende"

Monea Royal Monica Hotels in Yaiza

Monea Royal Monica

"My mum and I have just returned from a 3 day break at the Royal Monica and feel compelled to write a review after our wonderful stay. This was our first time in Lanzarote and the resort of Playa Blanca was perfect for us - beautiful long promenades for running and walking and the hotel overlooks cove beaches and the sea - exactly what we wanted for a lovely relaxing stay. On arrival, the reception team were friendly and helpful. We booked a sea view family room (highly recommend) and opened up our balcony doors to sea and hear the sea every day. The hotel and rooms were always cleaned and serviced regularly. Meal choices were much better than many 4 star AI resorts we have stayed in before including vegetarian options. Always plenty of choices, great mealtimes and staff were always friendly and attentive. Evening entertainment, like many hotels, can be a little hit and miss but the animation team were friendly and welcoming and worked hard to make sure everyone had fun! Although the hotel is 3 star, the staff, service, food and location make this closer to a 4 star. Thank you for a lovely relaxing stay. We look forward to returning to Lanzarote and the SBH Royal Monica in the future,"

"Warm welcome, superb location. Lovely 45-minute walk to Cala Blanca. Regarding the hotel itself, nice pool, clean hotel. Entertainment every evening. However, the restaurant is very noisy and lacks charm; it feels like a hospital cafeteria. The food is okay, but nothing special."

Relaxia Lanzasur Club - Aqualava Water Park

"Our second visit here and loved it even more than the first time! Fab location and great atmosphere around the pool during the day and the team kept us entertained at night. The entertainment team were fantastic right up until the moment we left and made us feel so comfortable during the daytime games. Not normally something I would partake in! Brayan(unsure of spelling?!) and Maria were absolutely fabulous and made our whole family welcome. My daughter loved kids club and although all the team looked after her brilliantly, Mery Jane has a special place in her heart for sure! Didn't tire of the food in 2 weeks, cleaners efficient and friendly, reception staff always happy to help and also friendly. Apartments a little tired but wouldn't hesitate to go back! Thank you all for a lovely holiday ♥️"

"Our favourite place to stay in Lanzarote. This apartment hotel is well equipped, a d clean, with friendly staff. It is a 3km walk from the harbour along the paved coastal path. The pool is quiet and clean, with plenty of sunbeds, a bar, and a small, shallow pool for children. The Arena bar is a friendly place to go, there are a few good restaurants nearby, on the coast path, and many others in the town. There is a bus stop right behind the hotel, if you want to get a bus into Playa Blanca or to Rubicon Marina. We prefer to book direct, as the rates are preferable & it's easy to do, as their website offers different language options."
