"The Crowne Plaza can be considered one of the best hotels in Ya'an, offering five-star amenities. The front desk service was excellent and very responsive. It happened to be the Mid-Autumn Festival, and they even gifted us an IHG custom mooncake box, which was a lovely touch. There's a free mini-train at the hotel entrance that takes you to and from the pier, which the kids absolutely loved. As an IHG member, I received a complimentary upgrade to a river view king room with a great view. My only minor gripe is that the room size felt a bit cramped compared to what I'd expect from a five-star hotel, but the in-room facilities were all quite good. Additionally, the hotel is situated in Ya'an's new landmark, the Ya'an Panda Exhibition Center, making its location superb. It's about a 40-minute drive from the Bifengxia scenic area. Definitely a recommended hotel!"
Ya'an Nanshuige Kaiyuan Mingting Hot Spring Hotel
"I booked two rooms with my family for the weekend of the 22nd. The confirmation call the day before clearly stated we wanted to stay together, with a baby and an elderly person. We were assigned one on the second floor and the other on the fourth floor. There was no air conditioning in the lobby, hallway, or common areas. I think the lack of service at a new hotel is understandable; I'll just avoid it next time. The result was a truly disgusting experience. When we checked out, my child had forgotten a Jellycat Halloween pumpkin pillow (298 yuan from the counter) and had slept with it the night before, squeezing it under the comforter without checking it before leaving. It was still thick and large, and noticeable. I figured since it was a brand-managed hotel, I could just call and confirm and have it shipped to me, cash on delivery. Instead, I received a reply from Ctrip on behalf of the hotel, saying they hadn't seen the pillow. 298 yuan isn't a lot of money, but finding a guest's belongings and not turning them in or admitting it is just a shame. Is this the kind of behavior you'd expect from a hotel like this? Is it safe to leave personal belongings in a hotel like this? Is this the level of quality a brand-managed hotel offers? I still visit several brand-name resort hotels in Sichuan every year, as well as those outside the province. I've never had to worry about not being able to retrieve something I forgot to take. And from the beginning, it was Ctrip that handled the situation and gave me 60 yuan in compensation. Since Ctrip wasn't the cause of the incident, I didn't say anything, let alone the actual price of the pillow. Finally, I want to say that hotel management shouldn't let a single bad omission spoil the whole thing."

The only downside is that dining is inconvenient; you have to drive out as there are almost no dining options at the hotel itself."

"A homestay with a great experience, better than many five-star parent-child hotels. Children can have their own snacks and toys here. There are tatami mats, projectors, snacks, cartoons, baths, and zoos (the hotel is a ten-minute walk from the zoo). Children are so happy! The boss is warm and attentive in service. Every corner and detail of the homestay is clean and hygienic. Gifts were given to the children when checking out. I have upgraded my annual pass to the zoo and look forward to visiting again in the summer!"

"The pros and cons are too obvious, so let's start with the pros: 1. The owner is very welcoming and almost always accommodating. 2. The rooms are spacious. 3. The kids loved the slide in the room. 4. Barbecueing and listening to music in the courtyard was very pleasant. The cons are also significant: 1. It's too remote, and the road to get there is too narrow; traveling by car was nerve-wracking. 2. The food is on the expensive side. 3. Most importantly: the hot water is inconsistent, fluctuating wildly between 0 and 50 degrees Celsius."

"Overall, it's pretty good. The location is easy to find, with a river view across the street (the night view is even more beautiful). There's a Wanda Plaza nearby, and restaurants are easy to find (I recommend a restaurant called "Yi Liu Er Jiao Ma Ji" – their wontons and other dishes are especially delicious). It's very close to the bus stop, making it convenient to get to Ya'an Station. By the way, Ya'an is a city with excellent sanitation; everywhere you go feels very clean and refreshing."

"I really loved the style of this hotel! The bed was incredibly soft and comfortable. The location is excellent, and parking is super convenient with a dedicated underground garage. It's especially handy for those on the G318 self-driving route. The breakfast had a good variety and was delicious, even offering freshly made noodles. The room itself was clean and tidy, and I appreciated the disposable towels and face cloths – very convenient. The front desk staff were very welcoming, and there's unlimited refills of freshly ground coffee. Downstairs, there's a snack street which is incredibly convenient for food – I tried several places and they were all great. It's also really close to Wanda Plaza and the high-speed rail station. But what I'd really recommend most are the disposable towels and face cloths in the room."
