The Wonders of the World Bohai Hotel

I was hesitant after reading the reviews, but decided to book this hotel to get to Shihai early. I was pleasantly surprised. The staff were very patient and provided smiling service throughout. The room was clean, and the breakfast was quite varied.

This is terrible. They're still offering guests a room in such a mess. The showerhead wasn't working; the cover had fallen off. I was already soaking wet, so I just used it to shower. I could watch a video, but the water sprayed into the sink. The amenities are terrible. The landline phone wasn't working either. There was no front desk number listed. I called Ctrip the first time, but no one answered. Terrible service. After showering, I reported the situation to the front desk, and their response was to come over and repair it. They didn't even offer an explanation or the most sincere apology. It says it's opening in 2022, but the bed and room are very old. The bed is very hard, like a box spring from years ago. The wallpaper is warped, so it's probably a renovation of an old establishment.

The first room I entered had a long-sitting smell and the air conditioner was dirty. The staff were very friendly and changed it immediately. It was very quiet at night. Besides the hotel and the B&B, each of them offers restaurants. Life is not convenient here, with no supermarket. The hotel's water, Nongfu Spring, costs 5 yuan. The vendors at the entrance to the scenic area are 3 yuan. It's more business-oriented, but anything less sophisticated is fine!

The room was nice and clean. I was worried after seeing so many negative reviews before checking in, but the experience was beyond my wildest dreams. However, the air conditioning was too loud at night, which disrupted my sleep. If I'd known about the amenities in advance, I'd have gotten a perfect score. Breakfast wasn't a buffet because there weren't many people staying, but there were noodles and hot and sour noodles, both of which were delicious. The location is excellent, just two minutes from the scenic area, and parking is free. Excellent!

In the parking lot of the scenic spot, the environment is okay, but the breakfast is too bad. It is just a vegetarian dish. The eggs seem to be broken. The egg white is light yellow. I have never seen eggs of this color.
