"I stumbled upon this attraction and hotel in Ulanqab purely by chance, and decided to give it a try. After checking in and seeing the room, it looked exactly like the pictures – the scenery was beautiful. At night, you could clearly see the stars with the naked eye, and with some phone camera adjustments, you could even capture the Milky Way. Sunrise started at 4:30 AM. Cons: The rooms are in tents, and it gets quite windy outdoors, causing the tent to flap and make noise. Light sleepers might not be able to fall asleep until after 1 AM. The toilet is separate. I removed my makeup quite early, but when I woke up in the middle of the night, I found the toiletries covered in insects – easily a hundred mosquitoes around the mirror. Waking up later to use the bathroom, not only was I scared of the pitch-black wilderness, but I also encountered frogs 🐸. The reason I know the sun rises at 4:30 AM is because a large bird landed on the tent roof directly above my bed around 4 AM, flapping its wings and squawking loudly, followed by a flock of chirping birds flying by, startling me awake from my already restless sleep. Pros: The scenery is beautiful, it’s far from the city crowds, making it feel like it’s just us staying there. It’s a unique, original experience with good service and healthy breakfast."

"This guesthouse was recommended by a friend, and it was only by staying here that I discovered Laoli Lake. When I arrived, I realized why it's called the 'Prairie Aranya' – probably because of that 'lonely theater' vibe. Honestly, it doesn't even need to piggyback on Aranya's fame; this place is worth a special trip all on its own. **Room Facilities:** We stayed in Building 2, a two-bedroom lake view suite. It was the closest unit to Laoli Lake, and we could watch the sunrise right from the bedroom. **Room View:** Absolutely stunning. Just pull back the curtains, and there's the lake view. **Service:** A WeChat service group was set up before our arrival, offering experiences like sheep herding and wood chopping. In the evening, a butler even came to light the fireplace and brought a complimentary sweet soup for bedtime – very thoughtful. Some of the facilities are open to the public, like the cafe and Zhenxing Academy (which looks like a giant flying saucer), but the accommodation area is private, which really contributes to the peaceful atmosphere. **Hygiene:** There were a few mosquitos and insects, but they didn't bite or cause any bother, which is understandable and acceptable given the natural environment. It was a truly wonderful one-day, one-night stay, highly recommended."
