Guishan Muyun Homestay (Si'erguniang Mountain Branch)

Facilities: The facilities are complete, and the pillows are very comfortable. Upon entering, I was struck by the floor-to-ceiling windows. They offer screen projection and a smart speaker for music playback. I drove here, and the mountain roads were challenging to navigate. They were so narrow that only one car could pass through. I drove for half a day, constantly passing cars. It felt like everyone in this village has excellent traffic control skills. Cleanliness: The room was clean and tidy. The only downside was that the screens were not closed when I first arrived, which allowed a few flies to fly around inside. Environment: Beautiful, with a beautiful mountain view. Service: Attentive service. You can eat downstairs. The breakfast selection was a bit limited. We had yak hotpot for dinner. I wonder if they'll make a smaller pot for two in the future. This large pot is the smallest. My husband and I only scratched the surface after a long meal. We didn't want to waste food, but we were completely exhausted.

When we checked in, it was summer, peak tourist season, and the town was packed with cars. We were worried about not being able to book a hotel. Guishan Muyun was the cheapest at the time, with a double room for just 298 yuan. Standard rooms at other budget hotels in town were around 310 yuan, but the decor was truly mediocre. Although Guishan Muyun isn't located in Siguniang Mountain Town, we were on a road trip, so finding it was easy. The roads in the village are well-maintained, all paved concrete, and there's plenty of parking compared to the bustling town. The hotel also offers a shuttle service, so it's very considerate of those traveling by car. Back to the point! I really have to give a big thumbs up to the hotel. We accidentally took a wrong turn while driving, and the owner was attentive to our late arrival and was waiting for us at the door. When we were ready to eat that evening, it was already 9:00, but the hotel restaurant was still open and nearly full! The food was served quickly. We told the owner what we wanted to order in advance, and upon arrival, we were served a hot meal. It was delicious! The room was also fantastic, with smart amenities throughout. The fact that a four-story building in this small village could even be equipped with an elevator speaks volumes about the owner's hospitality and foresight. There was also a smart toilet, automatic curtains, and a very functional shower! The toiletries and slippers were truly high-quality, and even the tea was from Xiao Guan Tea! Who would have believed this was B&B quality? It seemed like even the TV had a Tencent membership, so I could easily catch up on "Yi Fan Feng Shen" 🥺. And there were even several streaming platforms to choose from! Who would have believed a room like this was only 298? OMG! The best part was the view the next morning. Although our room was the cheapest that day, the view at 6 a.m. was undeniable! Opening the curtains revealed a huge window, revealing the lush fields below and the pristine blue sky. Stepping outside, there was a huge terrace. I couldn't believe how beautiful it would be when it snowed! 😢 It was clear the owner treated guests of all price points equally and made thoughtful design decisions. I hope the Siguniang Mountain Scenic Area continues to gain popularity! I hope all the staff of Guishan Muyun are in good health and make a lot of money!

I ordered a few dishes in the evening which were not very good. I didn't eat much and had diarrhea in the evening.

This is a fantastic B&B with exquisite decor and new facilities. The room has floor heating, which is very warm. The best part is the view; you can really watch the clouds roll by up close and the snow-capped mountains in the distance. The cutest thing is the dog in the shop, who is very friendly. This is a B&B worth recommending.
