Nestled at the foot of Mount Siguniang, this charming guesthouse is a beautifully renovated century-old ******* ancestral home. It boasts a magnificent 300-year-old apricot tree; the owner shared that in spring, it bursts into a sea of pink blossoms, creating an incredibly romantic spectacle. The guesthouse seamlessly blends authentic ******* architectural elements with contemporary design. Every single detail has been meticulously curated by the owner, making each corner a delight to discover and savor. On sunny days, you might even catch a glimpse of rainbows dancing in the lobby, refracted through the unique fish pond embedded in the ceiling. The gentle presence of a resident cat and dog further adds to the warm, homely atmosphere. With just 19 rooms, the on-site bar and restaurant are both aesthetically pleasing and serve excellent food and drinks. They even have their own orchard and vegetable garden, ensuring fresh, home-grown produce. The highland barley cakes, in particular, were absolutely addictive – I couldn't just have two! Children's play facilities are also available, making it a superb choice for families traveling with kids. Its proximity to the scenic area is a major plus, and convenient parking right at the entrance makes arrivals hassle-free.

We drove ourselves here, and the experience far exceeded our expectations. Firstly, the design is truly outstanding. The thoughtful design is evident in every corner: from the overall functional layout of the hotel, including its floor arrangements, terraces, stairs, front and back yards, to the selection of small decorative pieces and sculptures, and even the interior design of the rooms. You can truly feel the dedication and care put into every detail. The public areas are also well-appointed and offer plenty of activities. Guests can watch movies in the multimedia room, borrow books, and there's a small bar on the second floor. The kids absolutely loved running around and exploring the hotel. The location is incredibly convenient as well. It's less than 5 km from the Shuanghe Scenic Area, and the owner can even help arrange transport. You can easily make a day trip to Jiajinshan Pass and the Forest Park. Nearby, Dawei Town is also worth a visit to see the monument commemorating the Red Army's historic meeting. All in all, it was a truly delightful and satisfying trip.

The common areas are very comfortable and charming. The room decor is of excellent quality, and the bathroom and other fittings are all top-notch. It was lovely to relax on the small balcony at the end of August, sipping tea and enjoying the flowers. The dog, Wangcai, and the cat, Yueyue, were absolutely delightful.

My parents and I visited Mount Siguniang without much planning, and we simply picked a guesthouse close to Shuangqiao Valley. To our pleasant surprise, we were absolutely thrilled with our choice! The room was a little on the small side, but it was perfectly adequate for us, and we slept very comfortably. We had dinner at the guesthouse, and it was absolutely delicious! I highly recommend the Highland Barley Pancakes – they were fantastic! Breakfast was also very generous and filling, providing us with plenty of energy for our adventures! I absolutely adored the beautiful little cat at the guesthouse; it was super friendly and not shy at all. Getting to pet it for free was incredibly therapeutic and a real highlight! The hostess was truly wonderful; she went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and satisfaction from check-in to check-out. We are incredibly grateful for her exceptional service! 🙏

The decor is very stylish, with intimate, private sections that create a wonderful atmosphere. The courtyard is also very thoughtfully designed. Although it's a bit far from the main attractions, it's definitely worth a stay.

This place is perfect for a getaway. The owner is incredibly welcoming, and the rooms are spotless. It features a restaurant offering local specialties, plus a cozy little pub run by the owner themselves. All in all, a wonderful stay.
