Xiamen Hotels with Pools

Very close to metro station. Easy to go to popular attractions. Nice hotel and friendly staff. The room is spacious. However, we could smell cigarettes even smoking is not prohibited. We also have plumbing issue for our toilet, but it’s fixed quickly.

Had a short stay at Marco Polo while visiting friends. We’ve stayed here many times, and this was another great experience. The staff were friendly and professional as always. The room was clean and comfortable (though they are getting slightly old and dated now compared to competitors). The hotel is popular with foreigners because of the location - this area of Siming is very cosmopolitan with lots of restaurants, cafes etc. the reception area and lounge is also nicely designed and comfortable.

I guess 5 star hotels aren’t what they used to be. Dirty nails, messy hair front liners. Check in process was unclear, the way he talks is like mumbling. And he did not bother to explain. I am a mandarin speaker and yet he still speaks unclearly. Major disappointment.

Check in time supposed to be 3pm and I requested the room not to be near the lift or the last room. But by 3pm, the room is not ready although I had register the check in at 1pm. By 3.20pm, the got me a room that is right beside the lift (ignore my request which I had reminded them twice). Order for room service and told the front desk to clear it out around 6pm when I went out. But the dirty plates and leftover food is still there when I return to the room around 11pm Staff at the front desk is not attentive and the staff said will get the manager to contact me regarding the missing food for the room service but there’s no one contact me since 30 October Location wise is good, room is clean but service wise nah

This hotel was fantastic, especially for the price. We were here in the off-season and I'm not sure what the normal price is, but we paid almost 1/3 of the price for a hotel of equivalent quantity just last week in Shanghai. The breakfast buffet was great, they have lots of options and have chefs preparing noodle and congee bowls on request. I highly recommend the Japanese restaurant here as well, some of the best meals we had were there. The pictures did not show it, but our room also included a large bathtub which was a big plus. We were working while we were here and there were plenty of comfortable places to work. My only complaint is that they allow smoking in the lobby and in rooms close to ours; this seems to be the case in other places we've stayed in China, but was difficult coming from the USA

Clean and tidy, with trees visible from the window, and a small balcony. The young boss was very enthusiastic and helped us take our suitcases to the room. The hotel is very clean. It is my favorite house I have stayed in during my one-month trip to the south. We can see the small courtyard of this store on Sunlight Rock. There is a swimming pool. It is the best one on Gulangyu Island. I love it. I renewed the lease for one day because I like it. It’s good or not, needless to say! Love this hotel, the view from the room is just amazing! The swimming pool is very big and so beautiful ! The Italian restaurant downstairs is good Will go again for sure!

A little rough around the edges, particularly when it comes to service. Although, the concierge staff were pretty helpful. The restaurants are a mixed bag, the Japanese place is great. Nice views of the harbour, but a bit of a journey to most of the local attractions. Rooms are about what you'd expect from a place like this. Overall...pretty average. Could probably do better at the price point, but could definitely do worse.

The hotel staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. The room had everything I needed to make my stay enjoyable. Highly recommend for those on short business trips, stay vacation or a meet up with the extended family. The beach is in walking distance with fun coastal cafes, bars and bowling alley.
