"Fabulous hotel in a wonderfully authentic location. It’s not a typical tourist spot, which is exactly part of its charm. The pool is great, and the rooms are comfortable, clean and well maintained. The only slight improvement would be to rethink the lobby area to create a more natural flow."

"A little Spanish gem!!! It’s like an upmarket motel outside of town, only 10 minute drive into Javea. Great size room with private terrace and huge bed which was really comfy. Tea/coffee making facilities. Bathroom quite small but functional and nice pool with lots of sun beds and loungers!!!"

"Disappointed, I read the reviews, parked in the harbour and ubered to the restaurant. Slow service initially followed by a guacomole starter shared with my wife, it was ok. Followed by a main course of lamb, corderos en cous cous it was fatty, chewy, tasteless and watery, left some chewy fatty bits. My family had other delights that left a lot to be desired, 5 of us, decided to avoid the desserts as they only ha three of the five and left quietly with a 320 euro bill and an unsatisfactory feeling. We ubered back to the boat and collected pizzas on the way back. Overall I cannot recommend this establishment."

"We have just stayed 3 nights at the new Dionis. It is in a residential area about 10 minutes drive from Xabia. Despite this you can see the sea which is lovely. From the moment we walked into the hotel we felt welcome and at home. Alex and Alex met us with excellent hospitality. The level of service added greatly to our sightseeing tour of the area. I would highly recommend the hotel as a base for seeing the area. The room was immaculate, the view from our balcony was stunning and the design and furniture was lovely. Not to mention the fantastic breakfast. Highly recommend."

"In the first meal and the following ones I could see that the food was terrible, there was no alternative for people who eat a soft diet. At all lunches and dinners there was a lot of frying, batters and sauces on meats and fish. I caught gastroenteritis and when I went to the hotel doctor there were many other people with this problem, and we couldn't tell if it was caused by the food. The fact is that, two days later, in the self-service dining room there was no alternative to a boiled vegetable and a grilled fish or meat, only fried food, so I spent three days eating yogurt. They do not eat a balanced diet taking into account that the majority of people are quite old Bad, very bad, terrible"
