The customer service was amazing. Excellent clean hotel with friendly staff and a hot breakfast. Safe parking and well lit.

The worst experience ever. At around 4:00 pm on the day of my reservation got a call from the receptionist at the hotel telling me that my credit card was declined and that my reservation was being cancelled. First of all, there is nothing wrong with my credit card. I used it all the time, and the number is prepopulated in my browser for when I use it online. Second, the receptionist did not even ask me to check the credit card number. She simply stated that the reservation is being cancelled. When I offered to come and pay for the reservation at check-in, she said that they are fully booked (not sure why that is relevant to my stay) and that she is canceling my reservation. That was the most rude and unprofessional interaction I have ever had. She insinuated that I did something wrong. When, in fact, I suspect that they overbooked the hotel and were looking for ways to cancel the reservations because they did not have any more space. I made a reservation about a month ahead of my stay, only to find out that my reservation was cancelled at around 4:00 pm on the day of the stay. This is totally unacceptable. Stay away from this place.

I had a great stay at the Hampton Inn Reading/Wyomissing. The hotel was very clean and the rooms were spacious and comfortable. What really stood out to me was the excellent customer service. Rueben went above and beyond- he was really friendly, helpful, and attentive to the needs of the guests. His professionalism and warm personality made the stay even more enjoyable. I would definately recommend this hotel and look forward to staying here again.

Great experience and stay. Special Thanks to the Manager "Nannette Klase" who went above and beyond to make our 1 week family visit extra special. Her help in getting us though illness while visiting Pennsylvania for our annual family reunions which was super appreciated my wife and myself just simply cannot thank her enough. When we checked in No one told us the pool was closed. Went to the room and the TV did not work, took my 7 year old niece down to the pool and was told it was closed.😡 Then we changed room because the TV was broke and then the next room the phone was broke. We left the next day and went to another hotel for the remainder of our stay. NEVER AGAIN

It was fine….
Hampton’s used to be the safe bet for comfort and condition… room on the 5th floor had proof of leaky roof painted over and stained furniture.
Staff was exceptional. No complaints there. Just would love to see Hampton Inn’s get a facelift and renovations soon
