I'm a light sleeper, and the front desk was kind enough to upgrade me to an executive room. There were even some welcome snacks in the room.
It was raining continuously in Wuhan during my stay, so I ended up spending most of my time at the hotel. The overall room design was well-thought-out, and the bathroom area was spacious, with a bathtub offering a direct view of the high-rise cityscape. The pool and gym weren't crowded, which was very comfortable.
Although it's not in the city center, there are plenty of dining options, including a pretty good Cai Lin Ji hot dry noodle place nearby.
The only minor issue was that I put out the sign for a second housekeeping service during dinner, but no one came. Perhaps I needed to call.

I was torn between the Waldorf Astoria and the Xiangyang Marriott, but ultimately chose the Marriott because it's directly accessible from Exit J of Qingyuzui Station, without even having to leave the subway station. This is super convenient if the weather's bad, as it won't affect your commute at all.
It was raining on the day I checked in, and I immediately noticed a leak in the ceiling of my room. I contacted the front desk, and within ten minutes, someone from housekeeping arrived. They promptly moved me to an executive floor and issued new key cards. The issue was handled very quickly.
Inside the room, the fixtures and fittings were quite well-done. Although the bathroom was semi-open and the sliding door wasn't completely sealed, there was underfloor heating in the bathroom, so it wasn't cold after a shower.
Food delivery was brought to the room by a robot. During peak rainy periods, there was a bit of a wait – I waited about half an hour because there were so many delivery orders in the queue. Otherwise, deliveries usually arrived within ten minutes. The room even had a special box for disposing of takeout packaging, which shows how thoughtful the management is.
If you're arriving from or departing to Wuhan Station, this hotel is definitely the top choice.
It's also very close to SKP and surrounded by many great restaurants. Other attractions are easily reachable by subway, with transfers taking less than half an hour.

My company's headquarters are here, so I'm always traveling to Optics Valley for business. I've stayed in pretty much every hotel around, but I still prefer the Marriott. Even though it's a bit pricier than others, this is already my 'nth' stay. This time, as a member, I got an upgrade to a suite, which was a great experience, truly impressive! The room was spacious and bright, with excellent ventilation – it felt so refreshing. The doorman always actively helps open and close car doors, which is really commendable, especially with the summer heat. Honestly, I've seen many hotels with service staff just standing there, but the Marriott is different. Oh, and the staff in the hallway always greet you with a warm smile when they pass by. This shows the hotel truly values training in every aspect – solid! As for the location, it's not downtown, which might seem out of the way for others, but for me, with my company here, it's actually convenient. Finally, let's talk about breakfast. Before, I always went for the hot dry noodles, which were a bit too dry. This time, I tried the beef noodles, and they were fantastic! The beef was flavorful and tender, and the rice noodles were delicate. I'm definitely switching to beef noodles from now on. I hope the service quality remains consistently high for my next stay.
