The faucet in the bathroom leaked in the evening. trip company promised to give us a 50% refund, but the hotel only returned 56.5 dollars. The final result is only 56.5$

I have been spending my birthday weekends here for about last 9 years. There were 3 of us that traveled, with me coming a day ahead of other 2 that traveled from different locations. They only gave 2 parking passes as policy. The 3rd person arrived rather late in the evening. I asked very nicely for a parking pass for the night and was refused. The front desk manager, Taylor, was very terse, with attitude and would not offer any concession to assist paying out of town guests. although it was pointed out that the upper level of parking deck was practically empty, she wouldn’t offer any consideration to us. I had previously always found staff very friendly and eager to provide good service. This was so inconvenient and inconsiderate that a guest could not stay with such an easy available solution. I will not stay here again. It is pricey and outdated but I have enjoyed the location and amenities, and previously the service. But thanks to Taylor I will no longer spend my money here. The resort has become a little dated without any noted improvements. Some condos are more updated than others, but the upkeep appears to be falling off. Had to request enough towels and a trash bag. Blanket for sofa bed was completely covered in lint fuzz. I will say the front desk staff the other nights were friendlier and most helpful.

To Whom It May Concern, I am writing to express my disappointment with the service I received during my recent stay at your establishment this past weekend. I was present as a guest of my sister, Cynthia Middleton, who has chosen to celebrate her birthday at your location for many years. I have also been a guest in the past and have referred numerous others. During our stay in room 613, which comfortably accommodates three guests, we encountered an issue with parking. Upon arrival on Friday, my sister informed me that we were initially allocated only two guest parking passes. When our cousin arrived later that evening, we observed numerous vacant parking spaces. We requested an additional pass for her, but our request was denied. The explanation provided was that more guests were expected the following day. Despite our explanation that we had an invited guest who required parking, we were informed of the $500 violation fee for towing unregistered vehicles. This response suggested a lack of concern for our comfort, now that payment had been received. As a result, our third invited guest was compelled to seek alternative sleeping and parking arrangements for the night. This situation caused embarrassment for my sister and me, and inconvenience for our guest. This incident detracted from the enjoyment of her birthday celebration weekend. Sincerely, Wanda Howard

What an awful experience! The rented rooms are not well cleaned or maintained. The room had piles of hair and dirt along the floor(we have pictures) The paint was peeling, furniture was old and not clean. Plumbing fixtures needing fixed. The furniture was stained, old and needed replaced. All the units were in terrible condition . We were having a family reunion rented five different condo rooms and they were all poorly maintained and extremely dirty. When staff was informed of the condition of their property they were not concerned and passed the blame back on the owners. Not acceptable. The hotel has NOT installed pool lifts which are required of ALL rental facilities hotels and condos alike and cannot be grandfathered. This is a federal law and the staff just ignores the requirements. This facility needs to pay close attention to details if they are going to continue to charge outrageous prices for poorly maintained facilities.

If you are looking for an oceanfront view this resort has the best I’ve seen. We even saw two weddings from our room view on our weekend visit. The restaurant was good even if over priced and the staff were all pleasant. However the cons of the trip outweighed this and we would not visit again. The resort was at the top of our price range and we expected more. The room was not cleaned well and the furnishings were outdated to include a mattress that needed replacing. The cleaning staff began at 7:45 on Saturday and our room 403 was right outside their storage closets. They slammed doors multiple times loading their carts and having loud conversations right outside our bedroom window. Our largest problem was that the electrical outlets in the bedroom had an issue. One melted our phone charger and killed an iPhone. Maintenance confirmed the issue was the outlet but our compensation was less than half of one night. Very disappointed but not one for confrontation we accepted it. I hope this review helps you set your expectations. The potential for a great stay is there, just go into it knowing it is not a ‘resort’.
