We have just had our wedding at Mere Brook House and it was absolutely incredible, from start to finish Lawrence was there to listen to what we wanted and so relaxed about the whole process. It couldn’t have been better. The wedding day, everyone said how lovely the venue was and how amazing the staff had been. Special mention to Mike for coordinating and checking in with me all day in case I needed anything and just generally being there for us. Would absolutely recommend to anyone looking to have their wedding here. The bedrooms were also lovely and each one being different was such a nice a touch, having the entire cottage to ourselves to get ready in the morning was perfect and made the start of the day stress free. The food throughout the day also fantastic, only complaint being that there was too much! I can definitely say that nobody went hungry. Absolutely perfect from start to finish, thank you so much for everything!

We needed somewhere to stay for just one night near to Port Sunlight and read about Mere Brook House. It was a good choice and we would not hesitate to stay again. The location is tucked away in lovely gardens with ample parking and there is a self check-in system with room keys in lock boxes although, when we arrived, Lawrence was on hand to show us round and to our room. The room was ideal with a comfy superking bed, ensuite shower room, opening windows and plenty of storage. Breakfast is a help yourself continental buffet but it is available at all times, and for us was absolutely fine. Lawrence communicates well before the stay and we ate out at a nearby restaurant. All in all, a comfortable and convenient stay in a clean and interesting home.

Nice country style house. We stayed in Dragonfly a big room with lots of light. Host was great. Providing coffee at anytime in the kitchen from a machine, also tea and coffee bags in the room. Breakfast was continental style, help yourself to variety of breakfast items which was fine for us. Big comfortable bed. Small bathroom in need of a little updating ( hence the 4 stars rather than 5) but perfectly serviceable. Parking available on site. Would stay again.

We booked the venue for a 80th birthday celebration, from the first phone call to the lovely warm goodbyes we had nothing but a positive experience so many of the guests loved the venue and so many comments about the buffet which we all enjoyed it wasn't just the beautiful surroundings that made it so special its also the brilliant friendly proffesional team at Mere Brook House that really make it one of the best places we have booked for a celebration thank you for making our mum's celebration so very special

What a find! Mere Brook house is a fine Victorian house, centrally located on the Wirral, in a lovely peaceful location, yet close to Chester and the M53. We had a spacious and elegantly furnished room with an extremely comfortable king bed. There are views of the garden and adjacent farm, and you can see Wirral rugby club, from the window of the ensuite. We enjoyed sitting in the oak panelled lounge, and breakfast in the conservatory. The staff are friendly and helpful, and the whole experience was very enjoyable

A lovely Edwardian House in a picturesque setting. Beautiful room spotlessly clean and very peaceful and quiet. The staff were exceptionally friendly and professional my only complaint is that I didn’t stay long enough..
