The lobby and king bed suite was amazing. The disappointments were the ballroom setup. When arrived room was not vacuumed and tablecloths were stained and had holes in them. Very nasty and embarrassing. Should get a refund or told to use our own. Several employees did not greet guests in a courteous and friendly way. Front desk Chrissy and catering prep person. Larry, the manager was very commendating. He even dressed for our event theme. Made us feel very welcomed at home. I was disappointed in the food but the selection of food was not my choice for the event. The bartender was great and the drink he made was delicious! No one was available to assist with tech issues. Was given a projector and no more. No remote for monitor in other room. The room displays outside of rooms were not used so guest would know where event was held. The brunch was ok. Not more than a usual breakfast. Basically continental with bacon, potatoes and eggs. Not much other choices of drinks, pastries. Very convenient off the highway. I will return to stay again but will not use any other amenities and breakfast.

Her warm, welcoming energy made me feel right at home, and her professionalism was top-tier. This Doubletree is one of the older designs but is kept in good condition. Most employees were helpful and efficient, however the front desk and breakfast area was understaffed. The evening shift had only one employee. Parking is a little inconvenient for someone who can't walk far but it had a large covered drop-off and loading/unloading area at the main entrance. There was an adequate number of parking spaces to handle a full house. Attractive and clean main areas and room. Breakfast buffet was good but the fresh fruit was not well-stocked. Convenient location. We could not hear traffic although highway was nearby.

Worst hotel experience in my traveling career. I had a reservation and while enroute to this hotel I was in involved in a car accident. I called the hotel from the hospital (to get checked out). While at the hospital, I called the hotel to let them know I wasn’t going to make my reservation. And the general manager advised me that they were going to charge me one nights room rate. I guess (in her mind) business is more important than people. After speaking to Hilton, they stated that they allow for extenuating situations late cancellation. It is ultimately up to the hotel staff. Good luck if something happens outside of our contol, and you can’t make your reservation at this place. I will never stay here (or any Hilton) after this experience.

Carlton the bartender in the lobby bar was extremely nice, knowledgeable about the area and gave us a great bbq restaurant recommendation.
