Upon arrival I was greeted by the Manager Sam who took my luggage up to my room, number 40 and offered me a complimentary drink in the bar whilst he checked me in. Firstly the communication from the initial booking was efficient. I found The Swan Inn team so attentive and professional. Not only are the staff welcoming, regular local guests also take the time to speak with you. The room - Sam showed me to my room and explained everything, stunning, absolutely spotless. Everything you need whilst away even water, cookies and a personally addressed letter waiting for you. Food - incredible. I had dinner which was fabulous. Breakfast again wonderful. Nothing is too trouble. This type of service was the first that I’ve ever encountered and I stay all around the country mainly as a solo traveller for business and would highly recommend as it’s beautiful and extremely safe. Thank you all to the team at The Swan Inn you should be very proud.

Arrived to a very friendly welcome, the room is very nice with some nice little touches. The service throughout my stay was excellent, dinner & breakfast was lovely with a good variety on offer. Would definitely stay again - nothing to fault

Had a brilliant 3 night stay at the Swan. From the moment we arrived we knew we had picked well! We were given a complimentary drink from the bar on arrival and asked if we wanted our luggage taken to our room. Our room was beautiful, clean with water, tea & coffee. Bathroom was well equipped with lovely toiletries. We ate in the restaurant on 2 of the evenings and the food was excellent as were the breakfasts with plenty of choice. On leaving we were offered a complimentary takeaway coffee for our journey. On arriving home we realised my husband had left his wedding ring in the room, on phoning the Swan arrangements were made for its return to us. I would definitely recommend this hotel as a great place to stay when exploring Cheddar Gorge and surrounding area.

I called in here after collecting my Mum from the airport to have a lunch/catch up ( we have been before ) Such a pretty place with the wildlife pond and plenty tables for everyone, lovely water drinking barrel for dogs and lovely menu. Staff were extremely welcoming and helpful. Big thank you to Charlotte and Tom! Excellent service surprisingly quick and delicious. Well done guys!!

Beautiful pub. Staff were lovely helpful and very friendly. Breakfast was fresh and brilliant coffee. We went for an overnight trip with some walking which was right on the doorstep. No need to use the car. Room very clean and bed super comfortable.

Bit disappointing frankly. Food was average at best and the requested wine was not available. Staff was very friendly and helpful. However despite several kind requests to arrange for a taxi that appeared too difficult. Room was fine and clean but noisy (could hear the neighbours quite loud).

Room was amazing. Staff were very welcoming. Food and drinks were very good. Location was beautiful and very quiet. Would definitely go again. Everything was very clean and tidy and room was always made for me without any need for asking! Highly recommend!
