I stayed at Residence Inn Winnipeg for four nights. On the first day, only a few hours after checking in, I woke up to a bug biting me in the bed. I immediately reported it to the front desk and showed them the bug. The hotel moved me to a different room, which I appreciated, but the incident was extremely uncomfortable and stressful. After I left, the hotel later emailed me stating that their pest control inspection found "no bed bug activity" in the room. However, this does not reflect my experience, as I personally found the bug in the room and was bitten. It was upsetting to receive a response that suggested it could have come from my belongings rather than acknowledging what occurred during my stay. The staff were polite throughout my stay, and the location is convenient, but the overall experience left me feeling uneasy and concerned about cleanliness and the handling of the situation. I hope the hotel takes this seriously and improves room inspection and follow-up communication with guests who report issues. Because of what happened, I unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel.

Our favourite hotel in Winnipeg. The pool, the food and the room are all great. The whole family loves it.

Wonderful stay, clean, well maintained property and grounds. 24 hour main level coffee bar, patio with bbqs. Kids enjoyed the pool and waterslide. Buffet Breakfast every morning had a ton of different options to choose from!
