Candlewood Suites Winnemucca

This hotel is worn, probably because it caters to the guys working on the Interstate. Almost the entire parking lot was filled with white trucks with flags. The carpet was stained; the furniture scuffed; the bathroom--adequate but no frills. The room was spacious and appeared clean. The shower had a flimsy curtain so the floor was wet when you exited the shower, which was slick with no grab bar. Very average bathroom. There were no families that I could see staying at the hotel. They have no hot coffee other than a machine. How a hotel that charges over 200.00, not including tax, can be so worn and basic, I do not know. On a positive note, the woman who checked us in was very nice. The linens were clean and the pillows were soft. But, we will not stay there again. We travel back and forth from the Bay Area to Montana and will make other choices in Winnemucca in the future.

Worn down For as much as it cost for a room it wasn’t worth the money. The furniture was worn down,the floor had a huge wet spot and the bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds I’ve ever slept on. It was like sleeping on a board.

Passing through Nice to have kitchen facilities even for a short stay. The property is showing its age. The shower definitely needed to be serviced or upgraded.

Our rooms were very nice! Front desk service was also very good. My only disappointment was that they offer no breakfast other than some fruit and coffee.

This by far was the best room and accommodations in our entire 19 day trip. Best Hotel ever.

The first room smelled like smoke, they did accommodate me and give me another room. Probably wouldn’t stay here again.
