The Brando, Tetiaroa Private Island

It is such amazing hotel. We will come back with our family in the future. Everyone there are so nice and polite and all services are great. We will recommend to anyone.

No matter how far away you live, The Brando is one of those places that will always stay with you. The nature, the people, the views, the service and the logistics that make this luxury possible are all nothing short of breathtaking. Of course, the price tag is equally impressive, especially if you have to travel across 12 time zones to get there, but trust me — it's worth it!

A beautiful private island with about 20 beachside villas spread out over two beaches. Several good restaurants, wonderful food,and great service. They arranged a private jet for us to Moorea, turning a 12 hour journey due to limited ferry service on Sunday into a one hour journey (on Mother’s Day). The tours and activities are excellent. We were shocked when the small boat to bird island that seats at or so had just us and one other couple had a live Polynesia band with singers. Even the captain and bird guide joined in the singing. If I had to nitpick, their best restaurant is a bit small and intimate, but one group of four thought there booming voices should echo throughout. We left for the more casual restaurant and then were surprised when a celebrity also staying on the island left that restaurant and were seated next to us and the causal restaurant.

This was our fifth visit to The Brando. We began visiting The Brando six months after its' opening. From the arrival to The Brando air terminal until the departure from the tarmac onto the plane when leaving our stay was wonderful. Mr. Christophe Adam is the new General Manager at The Brando. He is absolutely lovely. He is extremely visible from the guest's arrival at The Brando until you depart. He met us at the plane and saw us off when we arrived at the tarmac to leave. He visited all of the guests during breakfast and his professionalism and experience is palpable. His smile is infectious. We brought a couple with us who travel the world; they truly enjoyed their stay and are planning a return visit. They loved their excursions and spa treatments. They are kosher and The Brando went out of their way to provide kosher meats and speak to the guests regarding their preferences at every meal. The staff is outstanding. Every answer to every question is a 'Yes'. No request is too much. We asked for popcorn to be delivered each late afternoon at the villa and it was delivered in a beautiful apothecary jar. It was our anniversary during our stay and we received a thoughtful handwritten edible card along with a beautiful and delicious anniversary cake. We saw Gigi on our last day; she was just returning from a week off and spent time visiting with us. She has been at The Brando since its pre-opening and she is such an enormous asset. Her beautiful smile and outgoing personality makes guests feel enormously welcome and special. We were as delighted to see her as she was to see us. The Brando is as special, unique, serene, private and welcoming today as it was when first opening. We can not wait to return.

I am making my third trip back to the Brando in 3 weeks and could not be more excited. The location is pure paradise, and the staff take it to an even higher level. Swimming with whales, walking the beaches without seeing another soul, star gazing. . . It is like the anti-Las Vegas. Pure perfection

Absolutely a must! This wasn’t our first time. We have been lucky enough to visit before. Brando offers the ultimate in eco luxury! Staff is absolutely amazing. Highly recommend taking advantage of all their tours. The green tour is so fascinating! They really make you feel special and very well taken care of. You have all the amenities but also they do so much to make it a zero carbon footprint. If you can plan to be there on a Friday, it’s a must! As their Luau is truly an authentic experience. You feel like you’re with your Ohana…so beautiful. Also, take their Pareo making class! Timmy is fantastic! Tihoni is the absolute best if you are lucky enough to get him for a private boat tour! All staff are fantastic! Can’t wait to go back.
