Very cosy rooms. Good food and service in the night. Staff very friendly and helpful. Fábio very friendly and professional. 5 stars to Nikki very attentive to our party.

This is our second time staying here, was impressed the first time and this second time was just perfect, staff happened to hear it was my birthday the day before and arrived with this after our meal. The staff are always attentive and personal. The food never disappoints and you can tell that the chefs/kitchen put love and pride into their meals. The accommodation is to the highest standards and you feel extremely relaxed as soon as you arrive. Although the location is close to LHR it easily felt worlds away in the countryside with complete darkness and quiet. We love this little gem so much we are back again next month.

nice pub with quality food - they are trying very hard to create ye old world effect and what has been done is to a very high quality both in terms of design and workmanship - food was very good enjoyed by everybody in our party and service was fine

This pub with rooms is set in a fabulous, easy to reach location and is a nicely vibrant and buzzy place to stay. The staff at the Winning Post are friendly, attentive and courteous. Everything has been really well thought out with much attention to detail, right down to the lovely tea and coffee cups in the bedroom. The bedroom itself was very clean and spacious and had everything you could need right down to a hairdryer, iron and ironing board. We had a really lovely evening enjoying drinks and cocktails in the bar area and the top notch food later on in the pub dining area. The rooms are situated a nice distance from the bar in a private and peaceful extension area. Experienced a great nights stay, (very comfy bed) in the Cheltenham room followed by a very filling and substantial fully cooked English breakfast the morning after. Very good value for money. Would most definitely stay here again and can highly recommend.

Lovely property and location, beautiful newly renovated rooms let down by a weird check in experience. They are primarily a pub / restaurant so I felt like an afterthought and had nowhere to park because of all the restaurant customers. I walked into the pub and it was unclear who I should talk to. There were some staff sitting behind a computer at a table in the restaurant but they just ignored me. It took the bartender coming out from behind the bar once I made eye contact with a confused expression to get my key. He was nice to be fair, but if they had a sign somewhere with check in instructions that would’ve been easier

We would like to thank Jordan and Diana and all the staff for amazing stay for two days very busy and nothing was a problem room very amazing food was top class if you get the chance to visit this gem of a place do so We will definitely return Thank you
