Elements Hotel & Shops Curaçao

This is the first time I stayed at this hotel. I was very satisfied and would recommend. It's about a 5 mins walk from restaurants, shops and night life. Felt safe to walk in this area at night. Check-in with Armandy was swift and pleasant. Very knowledgeable about the area and eager to assist. The room was clean and housekeeping was very accessible, friendly and always willing to assist. However the bed was very soft. I think it's about time the hotel replace the mattress. There is a mini fridge in the room but there isn't a microwave. The staff offered to reheat my food but they should have a microwave in the room for convenience. The hotel arranged transportation to the Sambil mall for $20USD (one-way) as well as hotel to the airport for $30USD. This was much better than the airport taxi that charged $45USD (airport to hotel). Overall an excellent experience with Elements hotel and shops.

Most convenient location - the hotel was within walking distance to various shops, eateries, market and even the Cathedral where we were able to attend mass on the Sunday. Both the frontline staff, cleaning crew and security were really welcoming, friendly and extremely helpful. The hotel itself was clean and fragrant. The effort into keeping the surroundings clean and up to mark was quite evident. Our room was well kept and clean and lacked nothing. We had a very peaceful and thoroughly enjoyable stay such that we hope to return sometime in the near future

Pros: • The hotel staff was great — friendly, helpful, and attentive throughout the stay. • The rooftop restaurant served good food, with a nice selection. Cons: • The music at the rooftop restaurant/lounge was all over the place. There was no consistency in genre, which made it hard to enjoy or dance since you never knew what was coming next. It felt like there was no real DJ or any effort to curate a vibe. • Cleanliness was a major issue. The hotel felt dirty, and unfortunately, after walking barefoot in the room, the bottoms of my feet were black — clearly the floors hadn’t been cleaned properly. • The glass wall on the balcony was filthy, which made it hard to enjoy the otherwise beautiful ocean view. The dirty film on the glass looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years. • The rooftop pool closes at 6 PM sharp, which is quite early, especially for a hotel that’s supposedly promoting a luxury experience. The pool itself is small and seems more suited for photos than actual swimming. Guests are discouraged from using the pool for real enjoyment. • Parking is not free. If you don’t pay the street meters in front of the hotel, there are agents actively patrolling and placing boots on cars — something guests should definitely be warned about in advance. Lastly, wash cloths and towels had spots and holes in them. Should have been thrown out, instead of washed and reused.

Service was great. I stayed there for a birthday occasion and the room decoration staff did an awesome job. Rooms are very clean and the bed was very comfortable
