Crusader Oceanfront Resort

Phenomenal location right across the street (Cardinal Road) from the gorgeous Wildwood Crest Beach. It is also only 1/2 mile away from the world famous Wildwood Boardwalk. The Crusader is clean and very well run. The living room had a large couch, a love seat, small TV, regular sized refrigerator, microwave, and 2 burner electric range top. The bedroom featured two comfortable queen sized beds. The room was cleaned with fresh towels every day. The Air Conditioning worked great and kept our room cool. The front desk people were friendly.. The only downside was the parking. There was always a spot available, but the spaces are tight with lots of steel beams & concrete pillars.

Great resort, and are have as very helpful front desk. My only negative thought though, is that allowing people early in the morning to lie their towels on the lounge chairs to reserve them in the morning, and not to occupy them, is disrespectful. The hotel should adhere to allowing people to take possession of any choice of lounges by the pool when they’re ready to actually occupy them whether for themselves or friends or relatives. That is the fairest thing to do in my opinion.

I am beyond happy to have booked a return trip to The Crusader for my family this July. We decided to try The Crusader last year, and we all loved it! We have been vacationing in Wildwood Crest since 1989 when I was 14 years old. Since my Dad passed away a few years ago, we have been searching for a "new" place that was happy and accommodating to my family plus my Mom. The Crusader is everything that a real Wildwood Crest motel was and always should be. We all agreed that it has been the best place we have found since losing my Dad. The pool is beautiful, the rooms are clean and well thought-out, and the whole hotel is just wonderful in every way. The staff on the phone and in person were very nice and made us feel welcome. Parking is great and the restaurant and decks just complete the package. I am happy that there is a laundry room on site and will use that this upcoming vacation since our stay will be longer. I am recommending The Crusader to all of my family and friends. It's well worth the trip and money. To be honest, we are choosing The Crusader over a condo this summer because we were far more impressed with The Crusader than our Diamond Beach condo!

Highly recommend! Excellent hotel in annexcellent location! Very convenient to walk everywhere and parking was included. Room was big and clean, and the pool was a nice touch!

I love everything location pool the room. The only thing I didn’t like was our tv didn’t work.

Check in was easy and the girl working the front desk was one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. The room is a little small, but my boyfriend and I don’t mind. 😊
