Perfect views of either towards Interlaken and the lake or up the valley and the views of the 'big three' Eiger Moench and Jungfrau. Quiet location. Outdoor pool heated to 27 degrees during the season. Nice well kept garden with superb views. Childrens play area in front of hotel. The hotel now only bread and breakfast, but has a useful bar and large sitting area for evenings. The owners can suggest places for evening meals, but you are likely to find your own. The downpoint is the hotel is above the village. If you have your own transport there is a good car park.There is a half-hourly bus to the village centre after that it's a walk up. 40 rooms well appointed,, various sizes from family to singles. Rooms 11 and 17 have the best views and balconyThe hotel can easily cater for groups and has recently introduced an earlier breakfast start from 7am which is useful for setting out for a day of sight seeing. Lift to upper floors very useful. Buffet breakfast. excellent spread and choices, It looks as though the new owners have made a start on improvements. Most people are staying for one or two nights and moving on to see another area of Switzerland.
