The room was absolutely lovely, bed was good, it was very clean and updated and I liked the robes. The view from the balcony was picture perfect and the grounds were well maintained. They have a pool which was enjoyed by many. A short walk to a private beach.

Very great location. As it is shown in the picture. The sandy y Beach is great to swim in. Great customer services. The city is charming. I liked it more than Tobermory.. I would definitely come again to Waitron and stay in the Waterview on the Bay

Loved this little resort. Upon arrival, the staff was very friendly and check in was fast. Our room was very clean, the bed was super comfy, and the bathroom was fairly large with updated fixtures. We had a private deck with a hot tub that looked out onto the bay. We did take a stroll down to the beach area to watch the spectacular sunset, which was very nice. There are several areas to picnic and a small gazebo. Overall, we enjoyed our stay, it was designed to be a getaway from the city and this resort was on point. One thing, there is nowhere to get a coffee or other beverage within walking distance. We found ourselves driving into town several times to grab little things, and to have meals, but not really a big deal, it gave us a chance to see Wiarton.

Had one night here during our road trip through Ontario, and were in general happy with the place. Lots of space and possible activities, and even an outdoor (heated) pool, which is not very common in Canada. There's a small private beach (quite rocky) that was also nice, while the volleyball court could do with a little TLC. The room itself is nothing to write home about, but it did the work and we had a nice stay. The WiFi however was very poor and spotty, so we had to give it up. We didn't get to check out all the features of the hotel, but we could definitely have stayed another night if there had been availability. Hotel is a bit of a walk/drive from the "city center".

Our stay was amazing. Booked almost the whole motel for our car clubs overnight cruise. Lots of our members used the pool and said it was very nice. Upon checkin, the A/C was cranked up and the room was nice and cool. We made great use of the fire pit too. The view over the bay is breath taking. We will be back as a group next year.

Great place to stay. Our room was large and very clean. The pool and pool deck are well maintained. We recommend this establishment.
