This very private 3 bedroom, 1 bath, getaway is off the beaten path nestled on 28 quite wooded acres that abut the Green Mountain State Forest This newly updated home is very open, bright & airy with all new appliances. Close to Sadawga Lake and the Harriman Reservoir for boating, swimming, fishing or just relaxing by the shore. The VAST snowmobile trails are around the corner and snow shoeing & hiking can be done right on the property. Mount Snow is a quick 25 minute ride. Berkshire East Mountain Resort is about 30 minutes away and offers 4 season fun as well. There are also loads of hiking areas in the vicinity. Relax on the deck or set up yard games by the firepit. The Place to Be was exactly as pictured. An adorable A-frame house, off the beaten path. Diane sent helpful information about the check-in procedure and was quick to respond to any questions. Diane’s place had everything one could need for a comfortable, relaxing get away. We would definitely stay there again!

We stayed for 2 nights in Aug with our two young boys and had a wonderful time! The location of the house was perfect- close to our family adventure at Berkshire East, and then to Harriman Reservoir to cool off. We loved the house and A-frame setup, which was surprisingly spacious inside. Very clean and comfortable. Our boys especially loved the ‘secret hideout’ cubbies under the stairs. I enjoyed my quiet and peaceful coffee on the sunny front deck every morning. Making s’mores around the fire pit at night was definitely another highlight!We look forward to returning again!

We thought that we had it all until we stayed at the A Frame. We live in a log cabin on the water but the A Frame beats it as it is nestled in the woods, and you have NO neighbors but the deer. It is beautiful inside and outside. Diane gives you everything you need to have a wonderful stay. We loved it so much, our next home is going to be an A Frame. Thank you so much!

3rd time staying at the A frame. The house is super clean, modern and cozy. We loved the back yard with the fire pit. The property is very quiet and peaceful but close to town and minutes from great places to kayak.

Perfect family weekend
My family and I had a wonderful time at “The Place to Be”! The home was clean and had everything we needed to enjoy a long weekend together. The place was very private and secluded but we could get odds and ends we needed with just a ten minute drive into Wilmington. The host was responsive and gave great information before and during the trip.
