500 m to white sandy beach to enjoy the fantastic surf, plus 500m to the estuary which is great for the kids
A 15 minute walk to the shops and cafes.

Lazy days at Whangamataa.
Awesome place with plenty of bedding for the amount of people we had staying and plenty of lawn for the kids to run around and play within the fully fenced section. Only a 5-10 minute walk to the beach and park//recreational area. Communication with the property owner was excellent. Would highly recommend this property to anyone heading to Whangamataa.

Good location, needs work
Overall the property is quite good and the owner is doing work on the property to improve it.
Unfortunately the bathroom is very dated and felt damp, the kitchen electricals were not working - no stove, oven, plugs were not working, drier not working. We did contact the owner and he offered an electrician to come over but due to being on the beach it was hard to be there.
If everything works, it is a good house
