"Second time visiting with a large family of ten adults and two toddlers. Beautiful rooms, lovely lounges, relaxing and welcoming vibe. All of the staff are fantastic, professional and so friendly. Massages in the spa by Charlotte and Willow were incredible. In the restaurant Ollie, Kai, Dona and Karen were brilliant. I have a lot of dietary intolerances and the chefs, Louis and Alex, were so helpful and made me delicious food! Having Lego at the table was so helpful to keep the kids occupied and the kids food came out quickly which was great. Hayley in the Den is amazing. The big playroom is so great for the kids and we enjoyed the pool table for the adults. There’s so much to do we couldn’t do it all! Couldn’t recommend more!"

The Fairhaven Hotel ★★

"Hotel was a really good Location, Welcomed by friendly and helpful staff at the desk. The lift was not working which didn’t affect us as we are able bodied. However there were other people who could have done with the lift working, We didn’t have the continental breakfast but it did look good. We just prefer cooked breakfasts. Bedroom was a nice space and bathroom/ shower was clean."

Carlton Hotel ★★★

"This hotel is a 4 minute walk from the train station, not the easiest walk with suitcases and the hotel has stairs upto it. I found the hotel very odd, a Malaysian restaurant downstairs, we thought we were in the wrong place but we had a code for the front door. The place is run by men which for 2 women was a bit intimating. Got our keys and the corridors are so ridiculously narrow and the lift is very small and looks like it will break down any minute. The hotel needs so much of an update. We stayed in the third floor, by our door there were WiFi routers and the carpet was really old and tired, we got into our room, it was so tight we had to go one by one, it was fine for what we needed but found it strange that the place was so dated but we had a smart room where the echo connected to the tv and the curtains etc, very strange. Bed seemed ok and clean but the bathroom was huge but weirdly laid out and you could see the toilet brush had been well used and was dirty, not nice. The shower was a nightmare the temperature either burned you or froze you! The location of hotel was opposite the beach, could see the beach out of bedroom window if you looked kind of sideways. It was fine for a weekend and good location etc but such a tired hotel, weird vibes but overall quiet and a good location"

Premier Inn Weymouth Seafront ★★★

"I booked a hotel room to be able to cycle the route for Weymouth 70.3. On arrival I was told my room was not ready as the robot hoover was still in there, I had paid extra for an early check in but had to wait andextra 30 mins before I could get into my room and remove the robot hoover that was just sat there, I was a bit disappointed in the room not being ready. The hallway smelt like alcohol when I arrived however throughout the day it subsided. The room itself was lovely and looked like the usual premier inn room, bed was comfy. I was up early to check out at 5:45 and the staff on reception just looked at me like I was interrupting their conversation rather than a friendly greeting!"

"We booked last minute on Friday 3rd and arrived Saturday afternoon. We had a large top floor room which was very well appointed with lovely decor and a very comfortable bed. The hotel is only a stones throw from the harbour with several bars and restaurants. Tracie the owner was very welcoming and very knowledgeable about the surrounding area. Would definitely stay again"

The Jubilee Hotel West- with Spa Facilities ★★★

"Upon arrival, reception was hard to locate as it wasn't at the front of the building, check in online was kinda convoluted. I appreciate it's a busy time for hotels but areas of the front of house were a bit messy. Location wise it's very good, over looking the sea and right in town. The vibes of the town are also very good. Considering the price we paid per night I found the room to be not as clean and modern as I'd expect, generally needs some renovation. The bar area and food service I thought to be good, and reasonably priced and the hotel offers evening entertainment too."
