Comfort Inn Wethersfield - Hartford

Recommendations: I would come back and stay at again.

I recently stayed at Comfort Inn Hotel in Wethersfield, and I am absolutely disgusted by the condition of the hotel and the terrible customer service I received. Upon checking into my room, I immediately noticed cockroaches on the bed, which is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, there were random fresh stains on the curtains, which made the room feel even more unclean and uncomfortable. We left almost immediately after checking in due to the conditions. There were also noticeable holes in the walls, which made the room look run-down and poorly maintained. These conditions were not only unsanitary but also embarrassing to have paid for. When I tried to resolve the situation by requesting a refund, the hotel staff has been completely uncooperative. I have called several times and even visited in person, but my efforts have been ignored. They refuse to answer my phone calls or address my concerns directly. It’s extremely frustrating to be treated this way after paying for a room that was not only subpar but outright disgusting. I would strongly advise against staying here. The lack of cleanliness and the refusal to address my complaint or provide a refund is inexcusable. I will never stay at this location again

As soon as I opened the door I was immediately hit with the odor of cigarette smoke. I found potato chips stuffed in the heater when I went to turn it on. There’s black mold in the bathroom on the wall behind the toilet. No place to hang wet towels. Mildew on tub grout. No spindle for toilet paper. On the third floor the elevator down button is missing , just a piece of plywood where the button should be. Hot breakfast is included but it’s mid at best. The hot eggs tasted like powdered eggs , bacon looked good and the coffee was good. They had a Belgian waffle iron , pre packaged danish and muffins , white and wheat bread and fresh fruit. I don’t recommend staying there.

I stayed here with my two daughters on Father’s Day. I’m an over the road Trucker….. and felt they was offering a fair price for the stay…. The terrible thing about this place to be concise was nothing in there at work me and the kids get dressed for the pool. Ask the front desk with the pool at they told me the pool was closed. When we got to our room, the TV wasn’t working and they gave me multiple excuses about it one time they told me oh that’s just how it is. The reception is bad here another time when we came back from going somewhere else to go swimming at a pool. I asked him did you fix my TV they lied to me and say yes, we fixed it but when I went up in the room, the TV was the same. It still wasn’t working not to mention when we first went into the room there was barely tissue left on the roll. I called and asked for more they once again lied and said the guy that’s coming to fix the tv will also bring the tissue…..so now here I am stuck in this room with my two little girls with no tissue nor nor working tv. I finally went…… never mind I’ll get the point by now. I’m tired of talking about this raggedy place.

Staff was NOT it. No toilet paper or soap in the rooms . Housekeeping walked in without knocking . Room stinks like cigarettes .. wouldn’t come back
