Very nice hotel. Rooms comfortable, food great and staff friendly and helpful. Perfect base for exploring local attractions such as Hever Castle and Chartwell.

Perfect location in the centre of the lovely town of Westerham. All the staff were very welcoming, lovely decor throughout snd immaculate bathroom. Excellent breakfast in the bright and airy dining area. Will definitely be back.

Completely perfect
What a super hotel, the staff are so welcoming and nothing too much trouble. Special thanks to the lady who helped with our bicycles, explained everything and showed us to our room (sorry we didn’t get names). Our room was bijou but perfect with some nice chilled music on arrival, a fab coffee machine along with quality tea bags, delicious shortbread and even a complimentary tipple. Comfortable bed and excellent shower - we loved the room names too.

What a gem From the moment we walked in the staff were attentive and helpful we were shown to our room by James who even ordered a taxi for us as we didn’t know who to use Yes our room was on the small size and we were on the front but it had everything we needed , the choice of the complentry tea and coffee and the sloe gin was most appreciated we did experienced some road noise but I understand that is out of their control it certainly didn’t spoil our stay Breakfast the next morning was sublime everything you could wish for The whole place was clean and well maintained

One night away
We needed somewhere in westerham and this fitted the bill, very nice, easy to find easy to park, breakfast was 10/10 , the food (evening) looked fantastic, what I saw coming out, we didn’t eat as we went to a private party function, my only gripe was for me personally the mattress was to soft

This is a really good hotel and the staff are truly wonderful. My only issue was the room temperature as it was a hot summer day. I accept the hotel is over 300 years old and I understand the issues with installing A/C, I just mention this for future visitors. If it’s not too warm, don’t drive past this hotel.

The staff was wonderful and I would've loved to give them a 5 star review, but our room was freezing and the radiator wouldn't turn on. We complained when we went down for dinner (which was really delicious BTW) and Lucy went up to check it out and thought it was ok. Returned after dinner to a stone cold radiator. I should've gone back down but I was just too tired. I slept in one of the robes and it took forever to get warm enough to go to sleep. When I complained again at checkout, they apologized but it seems like they could've taken something off my bill. I suspect they had turned the heat off for the season, but the night was chilly and I expect my room to be comfortable.

Five of had lunch at the george and dragon westerham We had Sunday lunch here previously and really pleased with its “normal” menu Having said that two of us had Pork Belly again which was excellent Lovely friendly service and at under £50 per head it was reasonable for good food and drink
