The cabin retains some of its original character with its old kitchen style sink, counter tops and wood flooring. It has some nice new amenities like the queen bed, updated bathroom and modern convivences such as wireless wi-fi and cable TV. It has its own washer and dryer and all the amenities that are needed in the fully stocked kitchen. The best thing about the property is the location to the Yellowstone entrance and the main area of West Yellowstone. We had a decent stay and the property itself was pretty cool, but it does need some TLC. A few of the lamps had burnt out light bulbs which I did make the owner aware of upon checking out. We also noticed the sheets and towels had almost a mildew smell to them which was not enjoyable after a long day in the park. I think it was the laundry detergent smell on the linens themselves. The shower head and knobs also leaked a bit, but the water pressure was absolutely fantastic. Also, the adjoining property's light outside the kitchen window was so bright and came through the window all night long. I spent some time on the couch and had to put a towel up to try and block it out. The addition of blinds or heavier curtains there would be good.

We enjoyed staying in this cabin for many reasons, location, large spacious common area, comfortable bed, plenty of little extras ( blankets, heaters, towels, washer & dryer) the entrance way/ mudd room was spacious.Some small improvements would be update cooking utensils, and use less throw rugs. As they are actually a tripping hazard for older people. Over all a great place!

The cabin was themed to the outdoors and the decor was a step back in time, which brought back some memories. We also enjoyed the location.

Great Homebase for Yellowstone Adventures
This cabin was a perfect homebase for our stay in the Yellowstone area. The location was ideal, just a short walk to all the restaurants and attractions in West Yellowstone. It was quiet and peaceful. Plenty of towels and linens. My daughter said the bedroom was cozy, and I found the pullout couch to be quite restful. Fully stocked kitchen. Would definitely return!
