Don’t go; this hotel is to be avoided. I stayed there for 3 days, as soon as I arrived I noticed that the shower faucet was broken. I negotiated to change rooms. the next day, no cleaning in my room. Bed not redone, towels not changed, no cleaning. And reception refusal to clean the room, no staff available. breakfast is minimal, just passable. As for the staff, no friendliness, not even a hello in the morning. I am familiar with the hotels of this chain, which generally give me satisfaction, but this hotel is really pathetic. there are other hotels nearby, avoid this one.

To top off my stay, in my rush to leave on Monday, I left my toiletry bag in the bathroom. I noticed it missing Monday night while unpacking and called on Tuesday. The person I spoke to said they didn't see anything and would talk to housekeeping and call me back. I never got a call, so I called again on Wednesday. I spoke to Chris, who claimed to be the manager, and he said there was nothing there and they were not responsible for anything left in the room and there was no proof that it was even left there! He was unapologetic and dismissive. I can’t even begin to express how angry I am that 1) The housekeeping staff would not have retained something of that size, 2) I never received a return courtesy call on Tuesday, and 3) That I was essentially told I was lying about it. Prior to that. The Bathmat, a Hand Towel, the Sheets on one bed, and several pillowcases had stains on them. The tub was filling with water when I went to shower, and I needed to poke the drain with a Plastic Straw that I had to allow it to drain. Housekeeping should have noticed this. There was mold under the ridge of the bathroom sink below the faucet. On Sunday, the housekeeper knocked about 9 or 9:30am and I said not right now please. I left the room around 10am and the cleaning staff were in the hall doing other rooms. When I returned Sunday night around 10:30pm I found that the room had not been serviced. I realize this was a budget hotel, but that usually means that the free breakfast is lame (and it was). The rest of the issues are not acceptable and should not have happened. I will be adding this information to the hotel’s reviews.

For the most part, the stay was good. The building is in good shape and is clean. The biggest gripe would be at check in, when the clerk was this weird guy that mumbled everything and was rude. He would mumble and I asked him to repeat himself but he continued to mumble time after time…you would think he would catch on after the first time that he needed to speak up. I then asked if he needed to see my Wyndham loyalty number because I booked through a third party and he said, “I don’t need it.” What does that mean? Is it showing up on my reservation? I said I may wish to request a late checkout and thus he would need my loyalty number, and he said nothing. He just put the keycard on the counter without looking up and answering my concern. I asked, “Are we done?” He mumbled “mmm hmm”…no “thank you” or “enjoy your stay.” I just turned around and walked away, He never said anything about breakfast times, just mumbled orders at me. This representative isn’t good for the property or the brand. Oh, and I did finally request a late checkout in the app but I never got a response, so I just settled for 11:00.

Most comfortable bed I ever slept in at a hotel! Staff was courteous and friendly. Kids loved the swimming pool and spa. Definitely will stay at a Windham again.

What a nice experience. Great location, excellent staff, close to the seashore, close to shopping and restaurants. Super breakfast 🥞 and great coffee too!!! Room was clean, comfortable, and pleasant. Would stay here again definitely.

Horrible experience, issue with a staff member Leo confronting my husband to the point my daughter was scared to exit the vehicle. Slammed the door as I grabbed the handle to enter closing it on me & my family, telling me I have my key use it. Causing burning, throbbing pain in my wrist. Management blew it off & said staff had his back towards our family & did nothing wrong. This explains why he said go complain they won’t do anything, “especially for use people”. Then why would we waste our time after a 20 hr drive from FL & being stuck in traffic delays left & right to call the Cops & file a complaint. Rooms & Hallway stink, towels & bed sheets were not changed. This was our 2nd time in 2 years & same issue with rooms & hallways being so bad. My daughter was about to vomit passing a room on the 2nd floor because the odor was so bad. Seems like they don’t care about the appearance or their clients being satisfied or safe from their employees. It definitely is not worth saving a few dollars, you definitely get what you pay for & much worse. There definitely will not be a 3 Strike.

Do not stay here. Sheets had stains on them looked like blood. They were changed but still. The bathroom had hair all over the floor, they used a lint roller to clean it up and it still wasn’t clean. Mold is all over it the bathroom shower and the tub was painted over. This is clearly family owned and they are not putting any money into the property. It needs to really be shutdown. Please do not be enticed by the breakfast….it is sour at best and lackluster. Very gross place
