Residence Inn des Moines West at Jordan Creek Town Center

Room was decent - could of been a bit cleaner - hair on bathtub, under microwave was dirty. Walls were thin and windows even thinner. Easy access to airport, shopping. Did not like the bathroom configuration - room lighting was poor especially in bathroom sink area. hotel configuration weird for elevator access. 4.9 rating on site - very high in my opinion.

We’re pushing 1,400 Marriott nights so it’s hard to say one Residence Inn is better than the next — but this one, which we have visited multiple times, really is the very best. Once you get past the warm and welcome greeting from AGM Allie, whose smile will brighten your whole trip, you are amazed at the cleanliness of every corner of this hotel. Even the windowsills! Yes, often a place for covert cigarette butts and dead bugs — but oh no, not here. Everything shines. We had the 2-Bedroom (Queens)/2-Bath (tubs in both) Suite with screened windows for a breeze. It was very roomy, seemingly bigger than its advertised 660 feet. There is a well-equipped fitness room just off the lobby, with towels and free weights. The laundry room on the 2nd floor is a bargain at $1.50 for wash, $1.50 for dry (you’ll need quarters, but the front desk can make change). Parking is plentiful, well-lighted and secure. Don’t miss the peaceful setting in the back patio, the perfect place to relax and remind yourself it’s okay to slow down. And breakfast you will love. An army of hot/cold items, including the biggest croissant breakfast sandwich you’ve ever eaten. Also bananas/apples, yogurts and breads. A very, very good show indeed, GM Nocona. A+++ all around!

The hotel is in a great location but the room itself was very disappointing, especially for the price. Clogged toilet the first day, light over the bathroom mirror broken, something dirty on the curtains, and a chirping smoke detector.

Other than the elevator being down it was great!! The staff did warn us at check in & we just took the stairs. Rooms were great & clean & bfast was delicious!

Hotel was quiet; enjoyed the patio area. Our stay was only one night, but the room amenities were great. Would stay again for a longer time. Convenient location. Hot tub could be cleaned.
