This review should have been a 5+, except for one huge demerit. No coffee-in the room or at breakfast. Criminal. They did have a coffee bean grinding machine near the eating area that, after pushing some electronic screen buttons, choosing between caf or decaf and waiting a bit you got a hot cup of weak coffee-not the usually very acceptable tasty coffee that you poured yourself into a big cup. Also, the waiting line could get long in front of the machine as others figured out the new coffee experience. Coffee in the room and lots of decent coffee in the morning at breakfast has been a staple at H I Express forever and this is unacceptabe. A new building, with one bad wrinkle. Spoke to the manager, who apologized, evidently not the decider in the new coffee approach, and he told me to please contact IHG with my concern. We are Elite customers of the chains and will not visit this location again until they remedy this problem. Just a bad idea.

Booked a handicap assessable room, why would they be located on any other floor than the 1st. If a fire happened how would someone in a wheelchair take the 4 flight of stairs to get out of building? Also shower head for hand held was broke, and the seat for the tub but no way to keep water from running off seat onto floor as curtain doesn’t cover it cause seat sticks to side of tub. Kind of little things but some safety things to keep in mind when accommodating handicap people.

We stayed at this property for the first time. Unfortunately, we didn’t get in until late, so we didn’t get as much time to spend here. Typically I don’t do a review but I didn’t want to pass up the chance. If you are debating if you should stay here….I at BOOK IT! This was one of the very best places I have ever stayed. It was a beautiful facility, very clean and well-kept. I left feeling like I can’t wait to visit again! In fact, we decided to stay and extra night, but there were not open room, so we had to move another hotel….and I was sad because this other hotel (newer and more expensive) was horrible. This one set the bar pretty high, so it is no wonder we didn’t like any other one we went to. The only thing I didn’t care for was the pillows. My husband slept great and really thought all was exceptional. Give it a try….I think you will be very pleased! Thanks for a great stay!

It was a wonderful stay, walked into
Lobby and felt refreshed. Everything was clean and fresh! Breakfast was amazing! Pool was fun a little hot and humid but it is July

The rooms were not cleaned on a daily basis only new towels. They didn't even empty the full garbage pail in the room. The hallway smells like a dirty diaper. Management was informed but no action was taken from what I could see. The coffee station was not clean in the dining area. There were no napkins . They took away the Keurig coffee pots in the rooms because there is 24-hour coffee downstairs. That was a bad idea. The outside patio area could be cleaned up a little better. I would not stay here again.

This hotel has seen better days. There are stains on the carpets and ceilings. There was hair in and around the shower indicating that they do not do a very thorough job of cleaning. The ac unit made a loud whiny sound and clicked off and on all night despite using the setting on constant fan. The pool had only one towel and no hot tub. There are many better choices for the price they are charging. This one has been added to my avoid list for sure.
