"The location is great and just by Wengen station. The staff are all friendly and stored our luggage. The hotel and room however are very dated. Our room had damp carpet and a horrible damp smell. We told reception but nothing could be done about this. There were also stains across the room e..g on the lamp cloth, and in the bathroom. The room was in need of a good clean and upgrade. Breakfast was below average for a 4* hotel with very limited choice also. There is a spa but only open 4-8.30pm so did not get a chance to use For the price paid the hotel does not meet expectations overall."

"I didn't stay at this hotel at all. This hotel has the latest check-in time! On the hill! It's raining heavily, there are old people and children, in the middle of the night, let me walk the mountain road to find it by myself, because the staff is off work! Ctrip will not give any reminder! I won't tell you that this hotel needs special transportation to go up! DO NOT BOOK! Just switch to another app. I changed to a very expensive hotel that night, but I found it myself because no one cared about me."

"What a wonderful oasis in this most charming town! The building, the rooms, and the facilities are totally refreshed and in fantastic shape. The room we got had this most spectacular view of the the Lauterbrunnen Valley, and the layout of the room is efficient and the use of wood and stone is charming. We only used the spa on the last day after we had done half day of skiing, and it was fantastic: the outdoor heated pool was super nice, and the changing room had everything to allow us to change, freshen up, and repack for the airport. The breakfast was 10/10. The hamburgers we had one evening were 10/10. The formal restaurant is probably a tiny bit weaker than it should be, if I can be honest. While the service in the restaurant was flawless, the main courses were not as outstanding as I had expected, though they were not bad, either. Finally, the overall service in the hotel was a 10/10: every single person was courteous, warm, efficient, and effective. I've stayed at this hotel twice in the past year, and will be returning again in June. I have my go-to hotels in many cities, and in this area of Switzerland, the Belvedere is my go-to hotel!"

"Great mountain views! It only took us about 90 minutes to get to Jungfraujoch the next morning. The welcome drink was lovely, and the staff were all very warm and helpful. Breakfast was delicious too – especially the omelets and fried eggs with various fillings like chicken and bacon, they were all excellent."

"Traditional Swiss houses, very cozy. Although it is far from the train station, the view is unbeatable, and you can see the Jungfrau and the valley from the balcony. The service is also very professional and thoughtful, worthy of being a century-old store. Another thing: the building materials on the mountain are transported up by helicopter, maybe that's why everything is expensive"
