A lovely pub in Wendover with great decoration and outside seating area. The room I had was amazing. Superbly decorated with radio FM playing for my arrival. Great TV which I couldn't get working and needed one of the reception staff to get it going. DOH. Lovely ensuite and superb provided smellies soaps etc. Evening meal and breakfast both great and served nice and early for the start on the trail. All in all this place gets my best vote for somewhere great to stay.

We were there for a lunch, we didn't find any problems at all. Good service, lots of menu choices, not overpriced Car park at rear ( barrier coaching inn entrance! ). Lots of outdoor eating seating too Would retun Why do I have to submit 200.charscters in order to do a review, yabbdabvadoo

Went for Sunday lunch with friends, we sat down and waited for menus, drinks order after about 20 minutes we had to go and ask. service was poor despite restaurant being fairly quiet. Roast potatoes had been reheated and limp, some had a salmon over cooked and salad drenched in oil. Paid less elsewhere for much better quality.

Passing through on the motorbike. Nice room, good food, friendly staff, nice stay overall. Complementary gin and water in the room was a nice touch. I don’t have anything more to add but have to add words to meet the minimum character limit :-)

We absolutely loved Bel & The Dragon at The Red Lion in Wendover. The room was gorgeous, beautifully decorated, really nice features and thoughtful touches - my favourites being the huge fireplace, the old radio which was on when we arrived making it feel really homely and the make up mirror. Wendover itself is really pretty with lovely shops, pubs, cafes, the deli, walks and cycle routes. Would highly recommend a stay and we'll definitely be back.

Very easy to get to and park , lovely area to walk around . Breakfast was great and staff lovely and helpful. The only thing I would say is we stayed in the room near the car park and the noise from people drinking outside was quite loud, also the tv signal wasn’t that great. But I would stay there again .

Nice stay Really nice place. Rooms and the restaurant are quite cold, but it's cozy and the kids bunk beds were amazing. Food overpriced for what you get, but it was a friendly service

Beware of the PARKING FINE even when resident in the hotel. It's not enough to enter your registration once you have to keep entering throughout your stay. Sadly, there is no way to contact the hotel expect through their website and you have no idea if the message is sent.
