First Encounter Hotel

Located in the heart of Wenchang, across from the bus station and not far from the old street, it's convenient for shopping and has many snack shops nearby. The service is friendly and attentive, and there's a laundry room. Parking is convenient at the door, and there's a free parking lot diagonally across the street. Disposable toiletries and bath towels are provided. The room is new and clean, with a smart speaker that can control the TV directly with your voice, and a laundry room. I stayed there for two days and it was fantastic!

In summary, the hotel is just opposite the Wenchang Bus Station, which is convenient for travel. There are many snack bars nearby. The hotel opened in February 2025, but there is no formaldehyde smell in the decoration. The bedding is comfortable. The surrounding is relatively quiet! The front desk service is relatively good!

One of our two rooms had a bed that kept making noises, so we moved to another. When we pulled it open, we found a hair. We left the covers on, and when we woke up, we found a large black bug crawling on the bed. It was terrifying. The hallway soundproofing was terrible. The room across from us was especially noisy. We used the call bell in the room to call the front desk, but no one answered. Finally, we used the number we found on the Ctrip website, and they answered, but the problem wasn't resolved. Finally, the child in that room was noisy all night, running around and yelling in the hallway, and no one stopped him. This was the worst hotel I've ever stayed in Hainan.
