From the very start, Rebecca was an absolute star. Her proactive communication and all the useful information she shared made us feel confident we were in for a lovely stay and we truly were. She greeted us on a rainy day with a big smile that instantly made us feel at home.The house is beautifully set among rare farmlands, offering peace and scenic charm. Our room, which had a private balcony, gave us stunning countryside views. Having binoculars provided in the room was such a thoughtful touch we loved watching the birds while relaxing outside.The place itself is full of delightful details board games both in the room and the lobby, Sky and Netflix for cozy evenings, and a nice selection of snacks and small bites available.Breakfast was served with a view, and it was excellent fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. My wife and I truly enjoyed every part of our stay, and we will definitely be coming back.

If anything, this B&B is undersold. Great rural location, great attention to detail by Rebecca, the excellent hostess. Great Rooms, Lovely three table Breakfast Room and a very easy stay.

Rebecca is an amazing host always so happy and nothing is to much trouble we have stayed with her 4 times now and she never disappoints from the welcome to absolutely clean rooms and good food are hard to find any where esle we will return again thank you Becks x

Had a wonderful stay at Moorhead. Fantastic room, spotlessly clean and very comfortable and was very glad of the outdoor balcony during the hot weather to enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Rebecca is a brilliant host and nothing is too much trouble. Probably one of the best cooked breakfasts I've had!

Greeted by young lady who was very professional and polite with just the right amount of interest before showing me the room, which was clean and spacious with a nice view out of the bay window onto the garden. Breakfast options were available, quality and quantity were very good. Thoroughly enjoyed my overnight stay.

There is always a warm welcome, a room with all you require, a breakfast to die for. Nothing is too much trouble. A friendly atmosphere. Each room has ensuite facilities and a good view. Fresh layed eggs for breakfast and friendly ponies. Thank you for all our great stays

This hotel was a tad outsdie of the town, but what a beautiful spot. Our host, i think her name was Rachel, was awesomely friendly. The room was claen, a perfect size, and comfortable. I would HIGHLY recommend this establishment. We were on a drive from London to Edinburgh over a few dyas.

My partner and I had a lovely 1-night stay at Moorhead B&B. The rooms were spotless and the bed sheets were extremely soft which made for a great night’s sleep. Breakfast in the morning was excellent - fresh fruit and cooked options too! The host, Rebecca, was so helpful and recommended a lovely pub for our evening meal. We will certainly be staying here again when in the area. Thank you for making us feel at home and for an enjoyable night away!
